The room was exactly as shown on the internet and was very comfortable. Restaurant was beside a lake, the food was excellent and reasonably priced and the staff were polite and helpful.

It's nice hotel but its far from city centre
Its a great hotel, friendly and helpful...
Its a great hotel, friendly and helpful staffs but the only bad things are the facilities and distance. It cost quite a bit to get back to the hotel from chiang mai city. The hotel resort could do with more facilities like maybe a gym room or something. But overall the experience is great, huge room and very clean and relaxing indeed. Most prob will stay there again when i go back to chiangmai.

We chose this hotel because it was out of the busy, noisy centre of Chiang Mai. It was right on a lovely lake and the hills as a distant view but in between was a very busy road. After our initial diappointment we were nothing but pleased with the place. We were in a very quiet room looking over the pool (and the lake). The shuttle into town was excellent, the staff were attentive and friendly. The breakfast was a very comprehensive buffet. Overall we loved it. Only negative is the cost to get back out of town, about 150 to 200 Baht, which adds up after a while! But good fun in a tuk tuk!

Our stay was very pleasant, Service, room, location and view was great. The hotel is a little bit out of the city but with tuk tuk or taxi just 10 minutes away. In addition, a free shuttle from the hotel in the city and different shopping places, 3 times the day, is offered by the hotel. The staff was very friendly, we like to say thank you!!!

we enjoyed our stay at green lake...
we enjoyed our stay at green lake resort, peaceful and quiet only down side was it was a little to far out of the city and we had trouble getting back to the resort on a couple of occassions tuk tuk drivers not knowing where the resort was, no trouble getting into city as the resort offers a shuttle bus three times a day

About room locations;
It can be difficult to have privacy in the room with the other rooms opposite to yours.
It´s a pity to must draw the curtains on to get privacy.

This is now the low season in...
This is now the low season in Chiang Mia means the price of the rooms are a bit low(1,100 Baht/nite) and the environment is perfectly peaceful. That's why we like to extend 2 more nites on the resort. However, the front desk officer did not tell me the special 2-nite package(say 1,999 Baht) until I searched from its web and asked her for details. She's tricky... Anyway, apart from this bad experience, all from the resort is above my expectations!!!
