Wow, what a gem of a find!
Wow, what a gem of a find!. I have to admit on approach to Shere Wana I was a bit nervous as it fronted on to a busy road, however once inside it certainlt changed all that. The resort is very leafy, very green, very tranquil, traffic noise is zero and you could be a million miles away from the city. It's one of the very few places in Thailand where I've slept sounlessly without ear plugs!
My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights recently and enjoyed it so much we rebooked and came back for another 4 (only upgraded to a fantastic suite room). The resort name means something to the effect of "Forest in the City" and it really is what it says. Relaxation exudes everywhere from the greenery to the running water features to the quietness of the place.
Room was large and furnished in Thai traditional furntiture.
Large well appointed bathroom with an abundance of piping hot water. Staff are ultra friendly and speak good English, lots of smiles all round. 5 minute Tuk Tuk ride into the city.
Breakfast is good, buffet style with certain items cooked fresh to order. Has an excellent coffee shop (and Barista) as part of the resort knocking out great coffee from locally grown beans.
Would we stay here again? Already planning to do so later in the year.
