my husband and i stayed here januaary...
my husband and i stayed here januaary 2009 4 nights, this hotel is everything a boutique hotel should be. the rooms are very large and extremely stylish, bathroom beautiful with the largest spa bath iv'e ever seen. pool crystal clear and the hotels position is walking distance maybe 5mins to a vareity of restaurants and bars. a stay at this hotel is most enjoyable and we would not hestitate to go back there. most boutique hotels are in this price range so although it seems quite expensive for thailand i think it is worth the dollars.

Staff was very very nice. The swimming pool is fantastic. A special room with, books and 2 computers with free internet ! Very beautiful furniture in the rooms and hotel overall. Maybe the breakfast could be better but it's not bad anyway.
The location is good eventhough not in the Nightmarket surroundings. Only 15 mn walk from there. Quiet place in the old city, very enjoyable if you want to see the temples like Wat Chedi Luang and Wat Phra Singh. Our bathroom had a big bathtub and shutters between bathroom and bedroom. Very charming !
It's a very romantic hotel and we certainly recommend it. We found it better than the pictures on the website : good surprise.

This hotel is a MUST if you prefer true boutique hotels over huge chain hotels with hundreds of rooms. Great set-up, beautifully and tastefully decorated, very quite despite its central location within the old part of the city. Definitely the best hotel overall in Thailand out of the five that we stayed in during our recent trip (of which all were within the same price bracket). Excellent value for money.

We recently spent 3 wonderful nights at the Bodhi Serene. The staff were particularly helpful and assisted us in arranging several activities - including a Thai Cooking School (which is a must!). The rooms are a good size and beautifully decorated in Thai style - we had an enourmous bath. The hotel is well situated and within walking distance to many good restaurants. They also provide a shuttle bus to the night market. We would definately return to this hotel and highly recommend it to anyone travelling to Chiang Mai

Very nice Hotel in the center of Chiang Mai, Staff OK, Service and breakfast very good, the swimming pool is very nice but the noise of thr street disturb a bit, i can also advice this hotel

The hotel is absolutely perfect: very big room (50 sqm for a deluxe room), it is cosy in a perfect thai style... The service is good... Location is absolutely excellent: in the very center of Chang Rai just besides the Sunday Walk street!!! one just negative thing: the english they speak is very poor, and sometimes affect service... But I would say a very perfect stay!!!
