Rimping VIllage qwas by far the best hotel we stayed at in Thailand inckuding the 5 star resorts we used. The hotel is small friendly and will go out of their way to make you feel at home. The hotel is new and well thought ut We ended up extending our stay as it was such a pleasant place to stay

Excellent service. I had problems getting WIFI access in our room. Rimping upgraded our room free of charge to ensure I had a 5 bar signal. Price was good value - but after the upgrade the value became excellent. (Bring a mosquito net)

Rimping Village was the best hotel we...
Rimping Village was the best hotel we stayed at throughout out travels in Thailand. The bigger 5 star hotels are no comparison to Rimping Village. If you want flashy 5 star luxury and to be treated like a number then do not stay at Rimping Village! The warmth and sincere friendliness of staff who bent over backwards to make our stay enjoyable and comfortable was outstanding. The staff's professionalism really value added to this property without a doubt. Rimping is on a winning formula! This boutique hotel is unpretentious yet offers very clean and well appointed stylish rooms set amongst lush tropical gardens. There was one drawback though. The hot water tap system in our room needed attention as it often sporadically became either really hot or cold which is quite dangerous. The free use of the hotel's pushbikes and internet was very handy. The swimming pool was much used by our kids and was a quiet place to relax. The hotel is only 5 mins ride or 10 mins walk to the Night Bazaar. Rimping Village's restaurant served yummy thai food, although as expected it was expensive in comparison to eating outside. Breakfast was good with a moderate selection of western and thai food. We will definately stay there again when we next visit Chiang Mai.
