Excellent
What a great hotel - I can't fault it. From the free pick up from our delayed overnight train, to the cold drink, cold towel and complimentary breakfast they gave us when we arrived, their staff really look after you. Nothing is ever a probelm and they will kindly help you arrange any tours or activities. Great pool and rooms, and excellent location, only a 5-10 minute walk across the river to the night bazar. Would definitely stay again!

We chose this hotel based first on customer reviews and secondly on price. And both were spot on
The service was absolutly 5 star. As a family we have stayed in many 5 star hotels and Rimping Village is up there with best of them for customer service it really is. We stayed in one of the family rooms which consists of a queen sized bed and 2 single beds.the room was very spacious and clean. The hotel is away from the hustle and bustle of central Chiang Mai yet is a short walk to the night markets. We used took tooks to get around which are very cheap and efficient always negotioate a price before you get in we got almost everywhere with 100 bht. We will book this hotel for next years trip. Thank you to all the staff at Rimping Village for making our first trip to Chiang Mai a very Pleasent one.

The Best
We arrived early in the morning from KL, greeted by May at the airport and sent to the hotel by the hotel brand new limo. Before checking in we were asked to have our breakfast, as it was still early yet we were allowed to check into our room, as it was the low season and our room was available. Our stay was most pleasant and unforgetable, all the staffs were so friendly and helpful. Special mention of Kamy, Immy and Wan; they were so attentive and caring. when it was raining, they offered us umbrellas and ponchos, when I was sick they offered me medicines, when I needed to top up my phone card, they did it within minutes. We went for 2 days trips with the help of Kamy and we enjoyed them very much. We will definitely stay here again. I have also told my son to stay there when he and his friends goes there in 2 weeks time.

The hotel is very nice, the decoration is excellent and the staff extremely kind as well as professional. I couldn´t imagine a better place to stay at Siem Reap.
Friendliest Hotel in Chiang Mai near Night Bazar
My wife and I have been coming to Thailand for 12 years now and every time we come we have looked for an excellent hotel near the night bazar. The Rimping is the best. Nice and quiet, 5 minutes walk to the night bazar with a supermarket on your doorstep, free WiFI, free mosquito repellent, free DVDs for watching in your room, great pool and the friendliest staff we have ever mee. Also free loan of bikes and with an excellent super market on your doorstep...perfect
rimpling village for a family with young children
We are very happy of our stay at Rimpling Village. With 2 adults + 2 children + 1 baby the family room was perfect : spacious and very clean. The staff is incredibly friendly and willing to help. No cons. We highly recommend.

This is a fantastic little hotel, well located, with a super staff focused on providing you a service to make you remember your stay there for the rest of your life. Definitely very highly recommended.
The hotel consists of a set of two story buildings around the central pool. Nice, small, a great place to stay with your family. I met people there that came for a second time because they thought it was so good. And they are right!
The rooms are very nice, well maintained and with a very good air conditioning. Usually we turn airco off at night, but this one is very good and could stay on. The only remark one can make is that the cupboard space was a bit on the small side. Otherwise, it is a perfect room, spatious and with everything one may want, even free wifi internet in the room!
The restaurant provides excellent food at very good value. The breakfast is very nice, the juices are all freshly squeezed and delicious. An example the much more expensive concrete block hotels do not follow. Dinner and pool snacks are also very nice. There is no reason to go out to eat, the hotel restaurant is that good. That too is something most big concrete blocks do not offer.
The staff will provide you all the info you want for visiting Chiang Mai. They are extremely helpful and friendly. It is a hotel to remember as your home in Chiang Mai, a hotel to fall in love with.

We stayed in the Family room. The room was huge with a very comfortable king size bed and 2 doubles. The bathroom was also very large with a large deep tub and a separate shower. Lots of bath ammenities including a comb and detergent.The breakfast was delicious with a variety of fresh fruits and juices as well as cereal and yogurt. The Thai menu items (also included) were all wonderful. We didn't try any of the Western menu items. The service was impeccable day or night. I can't say enough about how friendly and accomadating the staff were. They were truley expectional!
