"Rimping village is a fantastic hotel, mainly..."
Rimping village is a fantastic hotel, mainly because the service is outstanding here. There are very few rooms and each guest is treated with warmth and respect and in reception they are extremely helpful. They even have free WiFi in all the rooms as well as a computer for internet access in Reception. The laundry service is cheap and quick (we had a huge bag of smelly clothes accumulated by this stage of our trip and got them cleaned here). The room was comfortable and clean and had all facilities like hairdrier etc. They also provided a drying rack outside the door which was useful for drying bikinis. As it got dark every evening, the staff light incense in a pot outside each room door to discourage mosquitos. It´s these small details that make Rimping Village special. It is also in walking distance to all the restaurants and the night bazaar. A really special place, suitable for couples on romantic trips.

"This is a fantastic little hotel, well..."
This is a fantastic little hotel, well located, with a super staff focused on providing you a service to make you remember your stay there for the rest of your life. Definitely very highly recommended.
The hotel consists of a set of two story buildings around the central pool. Nice, small, a great place to stay with your family. I met people there that came for a second time because they thought it was so good. And they are right! The rooms are very nice, well maintained and with a very good air conditioning. Usually we turn airco off at night, but this one is very good and could stay on. The only remark one can make is that the cupboard space was a bit on the small side. Otherwise, it is a perfect room, spatious and with everything one may want, even free wifi internet in the room! The restaurant provides excellent food at very good value. The breakfast is very nice, the juices are all freshly squeezed and delicious. An example the much more expensive concrete block hotels do not follow. Dinner and pool snacks are also very nice. There is no reason to go out to eat, the hotel restaurant is that good. That too is something most big concrete blocks do not offer. The staff will provide you all the info you want for visiting Chiang Mai. They are extremely helpful and friendly. It is a hotel to remember as your home in Chiang Mai, a hotel to fall in love with. Staff of Rimping Village, thank you so much!

"We stayed in the Family room. The..."
We stayed in the Family room. The room was huge with a very comfortable king size bed and 2 doubles. The bathroom was also very large with a large deep tub and a separate shower.
Lots of bath ammenities including a comb and detergent. The breakfast was delicious with a variety of fresh fruits and juices as well as cereal and yogurt. The Thai menu items (also included) were all wonderful. We didn't try any of the Western menu items. The service was impeccable day or night. I can't say enough about how friendly and accomadating the staff were. They were truley expectional!

The ambience is really good, very relaxing and informal. Staff very friendly and offers good service. Location just right- close to city and yet just on the fringe, away from hustle bustle. Good healthy breakfast spread. The rooms can do with some refurbishment though to more modern setting.
Overall- satisfied!!

This hotel is a dream. Not far from the center of Chiang Mai and from the best restaurants on the Ping river, but also very quite and relaxing. The room was perfectly clean and the
bathroom nice. The breakfast various and the staff excellent. Nice also the swimming pool surrounded by many beautiful plants.

The Rimping Village is a perfect hotel . It's very close to the centre of Chaing Mai and the staff are the most helpful and friendliest group of people I've met anywhere in the world.
We went back for another 2 days after the original booking and were greeted as long lost friends--even though we'd only been away 4 days. I love the place !

"We had a fantastic stay at Rimping..."
We had a fantastic stay at Rimping Village, Chiang Mai! Lovely rooms, bathrooms and pool. Everything was really, really clean and the saltwater pool was a refreshing change. The service was unbelievably warm and hospitable.
It was my birthday during my stay there, and the staff, especially the young men, had a surprise birthday cake with candles, and went out of there way to help my partner organise a special day for me. The hotel is outside of the old city, past the Mae Ping River, so its only drawback is the slight distance from the main action, but since we had a hired motorbike, this wasn't too much of a problem. We love Chiang Mai and the people there, and this hotel was a beautiful experience. Many thanks.

"Really liked this hotel. It is a..."
Really liked this hotel. It is a bit a way from the night market and main part of the town but it is only 5-10 minutes away walking or in a tuk tuk. Staff were
great and very friendly. Breakfast was good and the rooms were excellent. We were upgraded when we arrived to a family room on account of some building work nearby and the staff didn't want us to hear the disruption therefore upgraded/moved us. The swimming pool is great and enjoyed a nice swim after being out and about. The neighbourhood around it not too great but within a couple of minutes walk you're right beside bars/restuarants etc Would definitely stay here again.
