We stayed at this hotel for three nights and had a very pleasant stay. Made the mistake of arriving by train and paying a taxi driver 150B

Just stayed 1 night on our last...
Just stayed 1 night on our last night in Chaing Mai and we were sorry we did not find this hotel earlier. When we are in Chiang Mai again we will definitely go back.We booked a double and a twin and was upgraded to 2 Junior suites so we got off to a great start. Even without the upgrade this was probably the best value for money hotel we stayed at on a two week trip around the Mae Hong Song Loop. We had our own transport so the location a few Km's from the center did not bother us but might be inconvenient to some on Shanks mare.

First good things: Clean, nice room. Pool area was nice. Airport pickup was free. Hotel area was good looking.
Second bad things: Located at least 5 km from the town, when they say, that its only few minutes from night bazaar, it means 15 min by taxi, or 20 min by Tuk-Tuk. And when you want to leave hotel, you have to order taxi at least 30 min advance. Staff was helpful, but didn't actually speak English. Breakfast was served outside, so food was filled with flies. Our rooms safe didn't work and when we mentioned about it, nothing happened.

Away from noise and pollution. Walk to town but it's far.
Plan to add $5.00 for in and out by tuk tuk, if you do this 2 x daily It adds up. But i recommend to save strength for touring sights on foot.
