nice hotel, nice people
nice hotel, nice people. very quiet place. but just a little bit far away from town area. you need rent car or motorcycle.
R&R in Chiang Mai
There are virtually no faults with this hotel, staff were extremely friendly and polite.
Pool was great good size and very sunny after 10am.
Food quality very good.
Overall very quiet and very relaxing, great for just chilling in quiet location.
About 5 minutes into town by taxi or tuk-tuk..
Shops(7-11) about 5 minute walk away in either direction local eateries by the Train station.
I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone that wants to get away from it all.
Peace among the chaos
This hotel was a excellent place to stay.Allthough 2km from the center of town it had the advantage of being a very peaceful place to stay away from the hustle and bustle.Staff were helpful and allways somethere to take you into town cheaply.Rooms were beautiful,breakfast buffet had heaps of choices,and you can easily spend a day by the pool.
The room is not very nice. Everything looked old and it's not what I expect (as I saw some hotel photos). I've got some problem with hot water and broken furniture. The breakfast was not very bad but not many choices. It's a small boutique hotel for someone who enjoyed relaxing. Anyway it's a little far from the center.
Good value
Great value for the quality of the hotel. In a quiet area of Chiang Mai, but only 20min walk to the main areas or 60-80bht in Tuk Tuk. Staff very helpful. All in all very happy.
Gem in the outskirts
We loved the Rainforest boutique. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, beyond what we had experienced in other places in Thailand. The rooms were nice, very clean, and the whole hotel was charming. Our only dislike was the slightly out-of-the-way location, though it was a nice quiet place to return to after the noisy night markets. A shuttle service to the old town would be a nice addition to the available services.
shower and location
Shower wasnt very hot in room behind reception. Also not its 2.5km from the main town so you either have a long walk or a taxi ride to and from the town. There is a few shuttle to the night bazaar at 8pm, but that was a little late for us we went earlier ourselves.
Lovely and close
This is a great hotel. Excellent service, friendly staff who spoke english very well. This hotel is also close to the night markets and a free mini bus to the markets is provided every night. I highly recommend this hotel. It everything you could ask for at a great price.

For the price (and its not expensive so you can't ask for much more) its a fantastic place to spend your time while in Chiang Mai. Clean, friendly staff, relaxing pool area to soak up the sun if thats your thing and not to far from local shops i.e 7/11 and night market for food, shopping and bars. Breakfast included in price and always a good selection of foods to suit everyones likes. If i were to come back to Chiang Mai this would be my first place to book. Highly recommended
holiday break with daughter
Hotel was found to be in a quiet location and within walking distance or tuk tuk to main centre.The colleagues were very friendly spoke english and could not do enough for you.The food for value of hotel was excellant.The one dissappointing area was my wife felt the room could have been cleaner a lot of dust etc on floor.
I would recommend this hotel and would book again if i was to visit chaingmai.
