Should put more effort on the breakfast which is quite disappointing, very nice boutique hotel but the rate is too high for these rooms...
Great location
We enjoyed our time at the vieng mantra and would be happy to stay there again! It's down a little soi just inside tha pae gate; so it's so easy to get anywhere!!! ( great for the Sunday walking markets!). There is lots of action with some nice little places to eat just opposite it too!
Rooms were clean and comfy; the bathrooms could do with a bit of a makeover; but they are all you need!!
Staff were lovely and happy to help out.
Breakfast isn't bad, but there aren't many other options in chiang Mai as its hard to get a good breakfast anywhere!!!

Highly Recommended
We would not hesitate to go back to this hotel! It is great value for money and a terrific place to stay. The hotel has a relaxed and friendly atmosphere and staff were always helpful. Our flight arrived early and they stored our baggage and allowed us to use the pool area until our room was ready for check in. Breakfast was excellent, with a great range of fresh fruits as well as hot food.

We loved vieng mantra
My husband and I travelled to Chiang Mai with our 1 and half year old son. We chose this Hotel so we could be in walking distance to night bazaar and Sunday walking street, perfect choice!!! It was easy foot transport around the old and new city. This Hotel is boutique and that is what is so charming about it. Its quiet and peaceful yet right in the thick of it. The staff here are incredibly helpful and friendly, the best we came across in the places we stayed in Thailand.
Rooms are very clean and a little more spacious than most Hotels. The bed was comfortable, the shower had hot water.
I was unsure about this Hotel when I booked due to comment about see through curtains - They have fixed this problem. The pool is also bigger in real life than in the pictures - and they provide free WiiFii!
Food tip - you must try the restaurant 'Taste of Heaven' - the food here was amazing!!!
We will definitely come back to Vieng Mantra!!

Very nice hotel. Although the hotel is not big, the feeling is very relax and Tai style. Only 2 minutes to Tapei Gate, vey convienient. Warm service. All the people there are so nice.
We enjoyed Buy 2 get 1 so the price of the room is very good espeically with the good position and decoration, can not find the other one with swming pool in the old town as Vieng Mantra.

Great value for money and the staff are very friendly and helpful also had the best free wifi service
