Our trip in February 2012
My partner and i checked into the hotel for 3 nights on our way to a 15 night stay on the islands. We chose this hotel as we had problems finding another 5 star hotel with a balcony (within a reasonable cost). Upon arriving at the hotel we were checked in and shown to our room,We noticed straight away that there was a no smoking sign in our room which wasn't a problem as we had a balcony and wouldn't smoke in the room anyway. Upon asking if it was ok to smoke on the balcony we were told that the whole hotel was no smoking. Yes i mean all of the hotel apart from a small smoking corner close to the restaurant. We were really annoyed that first this was not mentioned on asiarooms site or even the hotel website. Please be aware that the hotel is very close to other properties as we found out on our first night, Thai karaoke was played until midnight and then the band came on to finish the night off !!!! Don't get me wrong, this is a good hotel is your a none smoker and have got some great ear plugs. We travel on long haul holidays 3 times a year and have never felt the need to post reviews of hotels weather they are good or not so good, but felt that this hotel had let us down in so many ways.

Too expensive for the room
We spent 3 weeks in Thailand, and we had booked a 5 stars for the 31st of December.
We'd like to have the best one, but it wasn't the case.
In the front of our room we had just a wall and it was a communicate room.
Very expensive for the prestation.

Thanks to Nan and her colleagues for a great stay at this excellent hotel. we enjoyed every minute. special thanks to Nan for arranging our private meeting with the monk at the temple, very special.
A beautiful and quiet hotel. We found the staff here friendly but in a genuine, not fake smiles, way.
The only downside for some maybe is that it is a small distance from the city ( not walking distance) but taxis were cheap so not a problem for us. We stayed here our first week before moving to another hotel nearer the city. In our opinion this was a mistake as you get traffic noise being nearer Chiang Mai.
We have visited Thailand many times staying at 4 and 5 star resorts and CM is our new best place there. When we return we will stay at Siripanna without any doubt.

A friendly and cozy resort
A new and stylish resort with friendly staff. The rooms are big and equipped with all the amenities and convenience. Food is good with many varieties to choose from. A reasonable size swimming pool amidst lush vegetation. Great place to relax and wind down....but not during the hot summer.
Hotel should consider providing free internet access like other 5 star hotels.
Overall, a good hotel, value for money!

My husband and I stayed here for 6 nights, and what a place beautiful. The food was excellent , the staff were very helpful and couldnt do enough for us.
It is only 10mns to town and 100 bht.
We booked this on the net and were very happy with the result and we are going back again.
The Manager there is young and very helpful and has execellent staff.

The rooms were extremely spacious, well decorated and top of the notch. Surroundings beautiful and convenient. Great staff and recommended for just everybody. Food was delicious. A must stay, worth every penny of it.

We arrived at this gorgeous hotel and were welcomed with open arms. The staff are so so friendly and lovely. They will do anything for you.
The room is far superior to anything else I have stayed in, big spacious room, the biggest most comfortable bed ever and a really grand bathroom and balcony.
The pool is really unusual and the whole place is spotless because it is so new.
There is a lady in the lobby area who can help you plan your day and get you a hire car etc and the breakfast is outstanding.
It is a 10minute drive from some nice restaurants and there is a guy opposite the hotel in the travel shop that does really cheap day trips, he took us round the factories for 200 baht!
