The only issue that I had was that the A/C was located over the bed so it made it very cold, the staff, food etc were great

Chang Thai House
Great Thai style room with beautiful bathroom and balcony. Free water, cable tv, small fridge, hairdryer, wifi. Smallish pool but well presented and clean. Location was a little far from the action but it was in a quite street, despite the house being built a few metres away.

Pro: Clean quiete, and secure. Everything is new.
Cons: The stairways have no railings, very dangerous for young kids. Breakfast is very minimal.
Price for the Deluxe was 1800 Baht, I would not pay the full rate of 2000+ Baht, I would look for someplace else.
