I had a lovely stay at the...
I had a lovely stay at the Rimkok. It is an older style resort but was well kept. The room was spacious and well equipped, with mini-bar prices that don't break the bank. The bed was nice and firm. The bathroom was spacious also. Overall, the room was nice, just a little old and tired. It did have a balcony looking out over the beautifully kept grounds of the resort though - a nice spot to sit and have a cool drink at the end of the day! The pool was much appreciated and well maintained. The food at the hotel was OK but nothing exceptional. The service was polite and helpful. Try the Thai massage located within the lobby - as at July 2007, 1 hour costs 250 Baht which is about AUD$8.00 - so relaxing! My stay was AUD$35 per night including breakfast, which I thought was excellent value. I'd happily return to the Rimkok again.

This hotel is a grand old lady...
This hotel is a grand old lady who is a little past her prime. The gardens and pool area are first class but the rooms are a little tired and the bathroom could have used a spruce up. Value-for-money-wise the rate could not be faulted, especially when breakfast is included. Food and drink were a little on the expensive side.

Very nice resort with extensive grounds and...
Very nice resort with extensive grounds and pool. Great view as it is on the River. Room and facilities are much better than other hotels in the same price range in Thailand. The only drawback is that it is a bit out of town and the only out is by shuttle bus that leaves every hour until about 9 pm.

Always perfect value with Asiarooms,hotel situated outside town but they provide a shuttle service from and to the hotel,nice swimming pool with bar and restaurant, view of the Kok riverfrom some rooms and from most of the part of the garden-swimming pool area. Room are big with balcony, big clean room and confortable bed, aircon not too freezing and bathrom normal standing but OK, nice lobby with some shops and lounge bar,will definitely stay here again...See you

We found this hotel excellent in all ways and would definately stay again when in Chiang Rai and even though a bit out of town there is a reasonable priced shuttlebus every half hour Overall excellent

we found the Rimkok excellent value for money. Set in beautiful surroundings and yet within easy distance of town.Courteous staff, fabulous swimming pool and great food.

Far from town but good location on...
Far from town but good location on the river. This kind of building is nice. We hate tower hotel. Front desk hotesses and staff very efficient. This hotel need to be renovated. Just paint inside room in sand color and change the curtains and cover bed coulb be a first step. The radio and TV didn't work. The piscine is nice and well located. The restaurant is good. It is not a place for shopping but never mind. We recommend this place when you get a discount.

Stayed at the hotel for just one...
Stayed at the hotel for just one night, however i wish i had stayed longer. Best hotel in Chaing Rai, i am sure, the hotel sits on the banks of the river in lush gardens. The room was a little dated but absolutely fine, huge clean bahrooms, they are in the process of a little bit of refurbishment but that didn't detract in any way from our enjoyment of the hotel. The swimming pool is huge and gardens wonderful, fantastic peace and quiet. A classy hotel with a lot of charachter, you wont regret staying at this hotel. A little bit out of town, but there is a regular shuttle bus service to downtown. If i ever go back to Chaing Rai i will definately stay at this hotel. Book online cause the rates at the hotel are more than double, thats why is such good value.

This resort is located on nice location...
This resort is located on nice location along Kok river and easy to access many tourist spots in Chiangrai. The food provided for breakfast and dinner are very nice. The room facility is quite clean and smell good.
