Nice pool but christmas is freezing this far north. Few staff spoke english which made life difficult. Rooms are okay but old and dated and the bathroom really needs a makeover. Only a 2 or 3 star hotel by most standards.
It was a very nice reosort hotel with a lot of facilities, but very few people was using the restaurants inside and at the river the same with the lobby bar and properly therefore there was clossing down to early in the evening. I will recommend that the hotel at least have one of the restaurent open during the evening
A very nice & quite place for a resting, good sevices and isolated environment. Value for money for a 3 star hotel.
Suggest using rubber based roller for the luggage trolley to reduce the high pitch noise along corridor during the early hours of the day as it wake up other who are still resting.
I spent 2 nights at this hotel last September. Good welcome at the lobby, nice room, good restaurant, beautiful view over the river. The only problem is the location of the hotel, a bit far from the city center. According to me, shuttles are not sufficient when you want to go out for the night.
I can recommend this hotel for any tourist.
The hotel was very nice in the Thai slyle beautiful gardens as well as the swimming pool. However it needs to be repaint (walls ans carpet cleaned in rooms as well as in the main hotel.
Very nice situation, quiet and yet easy to go in the centrum of Chiang Rai. Easy to discover north Thailand, we have appreciated the service as well as the welcome.
The pool and gardens are great. Lots of area for walking, and good views of the river while dining near the pool. The shuttle runs almost hourly, so you can get into the shops and restaurants if needed. The food at the resort was just "OK". It's a good place to relax if you've been on the road and doing all the tourist things. I spent a few days there just recuperating, and was refreshed and ready to head onto more sights.
