Very romantic hotel in a nice surrounding.

The hotel and facilities are nice but for the location and interest of the area (golden triangle) the prices (room, food and especially drinks) are much to high (a glass of wine costs than 400 bahts, a ordinary italian wine bottle 1700 !).

Our experience at the Anantara Resort and Spa was excellent - our room was upgraded for us and extremely comfortable. The Italian restaurant we used could have been a little better but the staff were excellent.

Overall, we felt that the Anantara did not offer good value for money. The rooms were nice and spacious, the grounds, elephant camp and pool lovely but the costs of services in the hotel far too high (drinks cost more than in London!) The location of the hotel was very isolated and this meant you had to eat in the hotel restaurant in the evenings, unless you had your own transport. Service was fine but everything was charged for (£16 to hire two bikes for half a day!) and we felt that, compared to other 5* resorts we stayed at in Thailand, it was not as good (perhaps they should charge less for the services and more for the rooms!). We woud not go back solely due to the costs of everything in the hotel.

Fantastic experience! Beautiful resort- perfect blend of aesthetic detail, wonderful service and peaceful setting that naturally fits the natural environment. We had a wonderful stay and would return in a heartbeat!

Anantara Resort & Spa is a magnificent resort, design and comfort at a very high level. the view is almost unreal !

Fantastic, I am glad it was one of our last stops, it was a great way to relax but still had plenty of options to see the country. It was better than expected, loved the elephants (visting the elephant camp and bathing). The staff were great helpful and freindly and ready to have a laugh.
Would recommend to anyone to go.

A glorious hotel. Splended scenery. Great base for travelling round. Very little to do of an evening. One of the most ideallic hotels we have ever had the pleasure of staying in. Would give 10/10 for standard of hotel and situation.

excellent hotel, views are stunning.Set in the jungle this hotel gives all the facilities of any 5 star hotel but with the remotness to allow for relaxation in luxury.An excellent place to unwind. We will definitly go bck again.
