The hotel is not ready to welcome...
The hotel is not ready to welcome guests at this price. It's called resort and spa, but there's no spa! There are still constructions to be completed, while the room is old and hardly maintained. This is so weird! I felt like I was paying them to expand the resort, not for what I got when I was there. For the money I spent, I expected better, more professional services. I expected beautiful resort, not under construction! I didn't feel good hospitality. They have to improve this a lot.
Breakfast is totally unacceptable, especially the hotdog, that I saw left on every guest's plate. I went there on weekday, so they didn't serve buffet. We have 2 choices: congee or American breakfast. No salad, no soup, no fruits. Other than water is poor quality orange jouice, and it's not cold. So we skipped breakfast in the 2nd morning.
Room size is ok, but the balcony is too narrow. Not many decoration in the room. No hanger in the stinky closet, where they kept extra mattress and blankets, so we had to keep our clothes outside! I witness that they put flowers, colorful lambs, and extra stuff next door where they were going to shoot photos for advertisement. Those things could not be found in my room!
Bathroom is large, but water rarely ran. I waited 45 mins to get the bath tub filled with warmed water.
The location is very good. However, you have to be in 5 out of ~20 rooms to get good view from your room. Since it's isolated, and you have to take a slow raft to get to the resort, they should have more things for us to do, such as a small library.
In conclusion, I wouldn't recommend this resort for this price. There's no doubt why not many people stay there. Only 2-4 rooms each night I stayed. This resort really need new management.
