Lost somewhere
If you need to go to this hotel, you'll need a good map. It is a bit outside of town. Big and clean, this hotel does not realy have a «heart» in the way, that there is something missing...may had a touch of Thailand into it. With all those big walls in the room you would think that somebody would have though of thai paintings!!!!
Away from main town
This was a lovely hotel in very spacious grounds and opposite the beach. The food, rooms and service all very good, but we found it too far away from the town, as we enjoy going out and about on our own and not having to use taxis or the hotel shuttle bus all of the time.
Nice swimming pool and the beach opposite not too bad, but lots of rubbish left lying around which spoilt it a little for us.
The hotel room is value for money...
The hotel room is value for money as the room is spacious and clean. For family of four, the promotion of breakfast for 2 adults and 2 kids are really fantastic. Only set-back is the hotel is not really located on the beach as stated in the hotel's description - we have to cross the road to reach the beach.
Stayed there 2 Feb 2010 for two...
Stayed there 2 Feb 2010 for two nights. Booked with asiarooms website and paid 1883 baht per night for standard double room with breakfast.
Hotel was close to empty when we were there so make sure you look for a discounted rate.
This is more the style of a US business hotel - clean,modern and well
equipped. Area around hotel is pretty poor in general. Allocated large
room facing the garden/road. Even though hotel was empty, no proposal
to upgrade to better room. Large bedroom with huge bed. Well equipped
and pretty modern.
As hotel was very quiet, they took individual orders for breakfast -
pretty good choice but quality of food was only average.
Great swimming pool area with seaview. Beach was very dirty and not
interesting for tourists. Restaurant in front of hotel did pretty good
Thai food. Dive center was closed down. Hotel charge 150 baht for 30
mins of Internet - suggest you cycle/walk/drive to village about 2 kms
on left of resort as the local place offers internet for 15 baht per
hour - mainly to thai girls playing games and doing their homework.
Staff were friendly enough but seemed a bit bored and demotivated.
Free use of bikes.
Would stay there again as a base for visiting Chumphon area, but don't
overpay.

The hotel and overall service exceeded my expectation. The staff is friendly and the hotel room is spacious with great view of the sea. My family and I love it and will definitely stay there again when we visit Chumporn.

We having a good time at Novotel hotel Chumporn staff were very nice service was greet and we love to come back and stay at this hotel again
Hotel is nice. Food is great. but...
Hotel is nice. Food is great. but the facilities is the best. I enjoy golfing and diving very much. I don't have to go to koh toa or koh nang youn to dive, cos there are lots of great spot in along chumporn beach to dive.
