We enjoyed the stay here and will come back. The flowers around the palmtrees was a beautiful sight every day. Friendly staff and the details all over the hotell was a constant joy. The turtles in the pool bar was a good place to enjoy a milkshake in the afternoon.

Every year we stay in this hotel. Good breakfast, room very large and clean, fantastic garden and swimming pool, staff very nice (Julietta speacks french a little). We love this hotel.

It is an excellent hotel, but services and food are very expensive, even for a hotel of this standard. Resort is very well kept - if you can afford it, book a Lagoon View room with large spa bath overlooking the lagoon - absolutely fabulous!
Beach wasn't anything special, so don't go for a 'beach holiday' - you have to go much farther south for the top quality Thailand beaches.
If you are looking for a spa treat, try the Montro Spa in Hua Hin itself - fabulous service and less than 1/2 the price of the Anantara.
Would also suggest looking at the City Beach Resort and Hilton Hua Hin, both close to the centre of town.

This is a really one of the most beautiful resorts I know in Thailand with a fantastic garden and 2 big swimming pools. Choice of excellent restaurants. Rooms are also up to date and some are offering nice sea view. Only disappointment is the beach, which was quite dirty (and many shards of glass!) I will certainly come back.

The Lagoon rooms are very good espeacially...
The Lagoon rooms are very good espeacially the top one that the outside chair is over the lagoon.The bathroom is very good.On the nigth they put on flowers into the tub that has a slide door which open to the bedroom and see the lagyoon view.The spa is good too.
