Overall a pleasant hotel .Food is of a high standard although some of the restaurants were a little pricey.Our ground floor room was dull due to the trees in front but clean.Service was very good and staff friendly.Location was good although not as close to town as sofitel or Hilton.

The Hua Hin Marriott is a great resort hotel on the beach. The spa and gardens are extraordinary, and the range of services provided are extensive and affordable. I highly recommend the Marriott whenever staying in Hua Hin.

It's simply one of my trips' highlights in Thailand. Superb service, constant little surprises during our whole stay at the hotel. Beautiful sea view and clean beach. Ideal for honeymooners. Breakfast variety is great. For the price, I think it's a steal. Will definitely stay there again.

We were extremely happy with the Marriott, we felt right at home. Location was perfect, right on the beach and close to town and all the restaurants and shops. Breakfasts were fantastic, lunches in the Cafe were great for snacks and a choice at night of 4 eating venues, plus each night they would have a special buffet in the cafe. On Saturday night they put on a Beach Party, with a huge buffet and all drinks included, plus dance band and entertainment, a great fun night.
The pool was used by us a lot and poolside service was terrific. All the staff were so friendly and happy, nothing was too much trouble, we especially received attention from Kelly and Eddie. My wifes birthday was on the Saturday and she was presented with a beautiful cake and the room was decorated.
We stayed at the Marriott for 8 days and will go back again.
Reasonably good value given the excellent location...
Reasonably good value given the excellent location right on the beach and within walking distance of central Hua Hin. Atmosphere and guests of the Marriott was like Hawaii with Europeans. You only felt you were in Thailand by leaving the resort. Would prefer a hotel with an ambiance and clientele more closely linked to Thailand and Hua Hin.

This Marriott is not one of the newer breed, and suffers from looking rather jaded.
The biggest complaint is that the garden/Pool area is congested. At the time I was there the hotel was almost totally full and the sunbeds looked like piano keys ( at least there were enough sunbeds).
Many of the rooms are dark and hidden from sunlight due to the heavy density of trees and shrubs in the garden area.
This is certainly not a poor hotel but it does tend to struggle to live up to "Marriott" and "5 Star" labels.
The Chicago Grill - which actually shares its kitchen with the coffee shop, is lacking in atmosphere. I shared the dining room one night - just me - alone and a few dozen mosquitoes!!!
The place could do with a redesign to give the Food and beverage outlets atmosphere and life - they are drab.
A word of warning - the hotel has no Business Centre.

The hotel staff was friendly. We did have a mix up with our luggage, but that was corrected immediately. The location of the hotel is near to the main part of the city/tourist area. The pool seemed a little small. Overall, it was a great experience. Thanks Marriott.
