Firs we got a room which was...
Firs we got a room which was not a deluxe room, as we hed made the reservation. Next day we could change to another room what was better. We had bad luck and we got some kind of food poisoning. That did not happen in the restaurant of this hotel but in another restaurant in the city of Hua-Hin. The whole personnel of Takiab Beach Resort Hotel were looked after us. They even sent beautiful flowers to the hospital where we were. We were very pleased duoring whole our stay.

We stayed at Takiab Beach Resort at...
We stayed at Takiab Beach Resort at the beginning of the year. With msot other resorts overcrowded, our hotel felt comfortable and pleasant even if almost full. The service is good and the staff is nice. Breakfast could do with a little more variety, and the restaurant does not appear to be open in the evening in case you don't want to go out. But overall, an excellent experience and very good value for money. In short, we'll be back.

Hotel was nice. not far from the...
Hotel was nice. not far from the beach. biggest issue was the bathroom. I love clean bathrooms and this was the worst i have seen in thailand. will not stay here again.

No problems at all. Staff was helpfull....
No problems at all. Staff was helpfull. Its close to the beach. Nice clean pool. Buffet breakfast is included. Good value for money in Hua Hin. Only gripe is that the whole place could use a good scrubbing; its not dirty as such, but it has that discolouration of the ages upon itself.

An excellent stay at this hotel .Ideally...
An excellent stay at this hotel .Ideally located for beach access.Service was excellent and nothing was too much trouble.Staff were very friendly and had very good knowledge of facilities available locally. The only point that let it down was the breakfast,very limited in choice but what was available was very good.

I have a very low budget at...
I have a very low budget at the moment, and this hotel is perfect for it. The price absolutely compensates facilities and service. It is therefore not high standard, but for price sufficient. The service is nice. The lobby is cute and has homely atmosphere. You can be normal and yourself there. Breakfast on Saturday was really good, but on Sunday it was lacking. Don't know why it is not consistant. Didn't have chance to ask them. Will do so next time. I will be back for sure, it is exactly right for us. The swimming pool is being done new and shall be finished by this weekend 11.09.08.

When we arrived at the hotel we...
When we arrived at the hotel we were very early as we had arrived by train from Butterworth. We were welcomed and given our room straight away. The service for breakfast was very good. The room cleaning very good. The pool very clean and peaceful. Great setting with a lovely terrace to the room. Short walk to the beach 5 mins. We walked from the main town Hua Hin but a long walk (stop off for a drink) now and then but local village easy walk.

The hotel was clean & tidy,the staff...
The hotel was clean & tidy,the staff were helpfull.The only downside was the lack of shops or amenities within walking distance,but it was nice & quiet.Guess you can't have both.

The hotel is very convenient for the...
The hotel is very convenient for the beach and only a short car ride from the centre of town. The hotel always seemed clean and tidy. The staff were friendly and had an adequate grasp of the English language. The food was first class and plenty of it. The pool was small, but clean. I would be happy to stay there again and happy to recommend the hotel for families and couples. It was one of the cheaper hotels and was good value. The only negative was the beach. The last day was spoilt by what I perceived as sewage in the water and it materialised in the form of a brown froth. Not nice to see and not very pleasant to swim in.
