We two famlies stayed at the TAKIAB...
We two famlies stayed at the TAKIAB RESORT for 2 nights.We were greeted by a nice receptionist, the best Ive seen in THAILAND.Room was comforatble and clean, bathroom nice.Breakfast was value for money. The pool a bit small.Hotel Very close to the beach. If you need to go to the city, walk to the police station 6 minutes and take the 10 bath trip, taxi 150 bath.Dont miss the sea food restaurants at the night market.DVDS sell at 120bt, same available in bangkok at 90bt.All our requests were accomodated at the Takiab Resort and for 19$ a day its more than a bargain.

definitely value for money! rooms is big...
definitely value for money! rooms is big and clean considering the price is cheap. location is rather far from the town. but there's a motorbike rental vendor in front of hotel. good for couple to roam around. will most likely to go back again. breakfast is reasonable.

We had very nice stay. the hotel...
We had very nice stay. the hotel was very clean & tidy. the facilities were ok. it's a very cheap place to stay & we only paid £10 a night. you pay for what you get. the sea was only a 2 min walk away. yes i would stay there again.

Hotel was clean,rooms spacey and breakfast really good.In this price range (we paid 616bht for double) a really good choice!

Overall the hotel was good value for...
Overall the hotel was good value for the low cost. Room was clean and the breakfast buffet good. However with one or two exceptions I did not find the staff to be very helpful. For example one person at the front desk was very helpful and the rest not. A few more smiles from the staff would be helpful. I found the tuk tuks to and from town very expensive compared to other Thai cities I have traveled in. The hotel was not open for dinner while I was there and in the evening you have to go out and walk to find a restaurant. I got an ear infection from the pool water not being sufficiently clean. Still as I say overall good value for the cost.

Found the staff very accommodating & helpful....
Found the staff very accommodating & helpful. Facilities were adequate especially as we only use hotels as a base camp. Hotel was clean, quiet but not too far to where the action is. Plenty of good resturants around, I would certainly stay again.

The hotel is value for Baht 616...
The hotel is value for Baht 616 included ABF. We had nice stay there, what we disappointed was:- - reception has no service mind (the way of talking) - Hotel wants to charge for very old baby cot Baht 300 per night We believe that other hotel will provide free baby cot and also this hotel should provide free baby cot whatever which rate we paid.

Well I was very pleased that my...
Well I was very pleased that my reservation was for 07-0806 but due to unfiorseen cahnges I actually checked in on 08-0906 my thai friend called on my behalf and changed the reservation, but when I turned up at the Hotel and spoke to the counter staff they did say that it was a problem changing dates and when I told them that my stay was changed due to my thai friends schedule change and she has explained earlier and it was accepted only did she accept my apologies. Apparently the person who spoke to my thai friend in thai had a better response than when I appeared with her. But overall the stay was good. The Motorbike was rented a little bit late. Please do let Nakarin put a sign that they will be in call for 15-30 minutes later and that fuel would have to be topped up to full and also provide a map for the fuel stop, there is only one small station and they also do not accept credit cards please do help renters that they need prepare up to 100 Baht as standby when they need to refuel.
