I''ve been there last 2 year ago, and before it's ok not perfect but ok.
now it's the number one about very bad things, i get first time one room with aircon broken, i want call to the reception for change room or repar that, phone broken too, funny , already 10 pm,
I go to the reception and the lady try to be nice , she give new room, but more funny i 've got it's never open since one month , sting and toilet broken already 11 pm, i said ok , i try to sleep and early i've took my luggage and left, about breakfast same style room , very poor....
and my room is not superior room the price i can give for this hotel it's 800 per night not nearly 2000.
I leave in thailand since 3 years and i sleep every where in thailand and every weeks , i know very well the thai style and i can compare ......
I can not recommend this hotel for some one, sorry .

The rooms was nice enough, booked for 7 nights but had to leave after only 2 ( not the hotels fault) that was until they charged me for all 7 nights. I am still trying to get a refund so will have to wait and see. When someone says they are checking out surely that doesn't mean they will be returning later for the remaining nights, or is that just my thinking?
Hotel was quite nice. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and had a TV and a fridge. The hotel was also reasonably located - about 10 mins walk to the beach. The shower was not very good - it didnt work well so was difficult to use.

Too many scandanavians use this hotel the trouble being, that like the Germans, they like to reserve their sun lounger first thing in the morning before breakfast with their towels resulting in there not being enough loungers available, (well there are if you include the empty ones that have their towels on them). Which meant we could only use the pool after they left.
The pool area was clean and so was reception area. The bedroom itself was not, the carpet wasn't hoovered at all whilst we were there. The shower was inadequate and not at the correct height or pressure. There was also not enough toilet roll left in the bathroom, it was only left on the roll holder and if it ran out you had to wait until the next day. We were also given a twin room whilst we had requested double. Not very good for a romantic holiday. The breakfast was fairly basis and a bit boring.
The airconditioning was very noisy and didn't work very well. The alternative would have been to leave the windows open but as it is in the centre of town, it is a bit noisy and you can hear all the other air conditioning units.
Staff were friendly though and helpful. The next time we stay in Hua Hin we will stay at a different hotel.

Very good value for money.
Spacious room size, very clean.
Did not bother with breakfast, as on first morning dissapointed, no menu and breakfast was eggs, boiled, scrambled, fried, omelete, fruit juice and thats about it.
Best to skip the breakfast and eat breakfast out, very cheap.

2 out of the 5 nights stay, were so noisy outside, as the bars in the alley were closing, that i was tempted to move to another hotel. Breakfast was o.k,at least it was hot, how would you like your eggs today? Waitresses had no humph, they really looked bored. For the money, you get what you pay for. Towels had a funny smell, like smelly socks. Laundry premises opposite great value, 15 items washed, dryed & ironed & smelt great for £2.00, same day service.Bottle top at side of television stand on the floor, was there till i moved it on the last day. Don't know how long it had been there for altogether.sack the cleaners.shampoo bottles looked like they were filled from a larger container, as there were always different amounts in them.

Although the Hotel is located in the center of town, it was some distance from the Beach. The hotel staff claimed that the beach was only 300 mtrs away, but in practical terms it was almost 1 KM.
When we checked in we were given a very small room which was dirty and towards the end of the building overlooking a Cabaret bar.
When we insisted that they change our rooms, we were told that they do not have any other room available.
Only when we decided to call Asia Rooms and change the hotel, did the staff offer us a spacious room.
The B/Fast is nothing to write home about. It was a very basic B/fast offer. If we requested a second helping, it was provided but not happily.
We were sold a Phone Card by the Hotel staff claiming it to be an International Phone Card, but actually it was only for domestic use. When this was brought to the notice of the staff, we were told that these cards can only be used at special phones located at the Post office. On checking with the Post office staff, we were told that it was actually a domestic phone card and not international as claimed by the hotel staff.
The only good part of the stay was that although far from the beach, this was in center of town to move to any direction. The Bus stop to go to Bangkok was only 150 - 200mtrs away and the train station was also a short distance away.

Location was convenient for walks to the beach and night markets. Parking was difficult to find at times as very few spaces available. Dissapointed with the choice for breakfast... The choice was eat what was served or eat elsewhere, and I did. This may have been due to the on going refurbishment of the building.
