"Absolutely lovely resort. The first time we..."
Absolutely lovely resort. The first time we had been to Hua Hin and also the first (potentially daunting) time we had been on holiday with our 4 month old son. We were there during low season so it was very quiet even though the weather was still good.
Firstly, the resort is quite beautiful. It is only 2 years old and this really shows with modern fittings mixed in with traditional Thai design, a real haven. We booked the standard room, but it was very good.
All of the staff were very attentive and made a real fuss of our little boy, which made it all the more special. He received lots of cuddles from the waitresses everyday while mum and dad tucked into the lovely breakfast!!
The infinity pool/jacuzzi(sp.) overlooking the sea is a real bonus. Enough trees to offer the option of shade but not enough to hinder some serious sunbathing.
Useful free shuttle bus to town (about a 10 minute drive) twice a day. Also (nothing to do with the hotel) but there are two ladies on the beach in front of the hotel who do brilliant foot massages!!
Just to be really finickety (very minor points), the beach is not quite as perfect as at other places, ie Koh Samet, but still very nice. The restaurant prices are probably double what you will pay in town centre places, however the food is first class.
All in all a wonderful place that I wish we had stayed at for longer and will definately go back to.

"Baan Talay Dao is situated on a..."
Baan Talay Dao is situated on a really nice stretch of beach - not over-crowded or over-developed, although the flip-side is that it is a little further to go to town and shops etc. The
garden setting grew on us(no pun intended). Staff were very friendly. The breakfasts were great, served in a restaurant with a perfect view of the morning sunrise. The pool is on the small side, but it's wet and that's the main thing. Complimentary taxi vans to the centre of town twice a day were a nice touch, although you can catch a 'song thao' public van for US$0.30 any time during the day.

"I have stayed 2 nights here. Staffs..."
I have stayed 2 nights here. Staffs are nice, friendly and helpful. Hotel surrounding is nice and we all like the garden. The worst thing is breakfast if you compare with room price and long
weekend rate is quite expensive. I would love to stay there again if they improve their breakfast or decrease room price since we can get the same price at Marriott with great breakfast.

"The staff at the resort are friedly,..."
The staff at the resort are friedly, alway greet you with a smile. The staff by the name of Mr "Tey", if i spell his name correctly, is especially helpful. Initially, we were given a
room that was not convenient. We requested a change and he went the extra mile to get us a room that was more convenient and also offered to set up an extra bed for us due to they have only double bed and no separate twin bed. The food at the restuarant is yummy and at affordable price. The resort is overlooking the beach, so the view is fabulous, when you sit at the deck chair. When the tide is low, you can walk down to the beach to swim or take a stroll. It is pristine white sandy beach and water is very clear. The resort is about 10 mins to the night market, which is accessible by local taxi and does not cost much. Although the resort provides free shuttle, you have to follow to the time schedule. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at Bann Talay and the wonderful service of the staff. I would recommend my friend to stay at this resort.

This was a fabulous boutique hotel in Hua Hin. A very quiet, exquisite hotel with beautiful landscaping, villas, and dining areas right next to the ocean. We loved it here and will definitely return again in the future. BTW, the service was also very excellent.....
