Excellent service & everyone is so friendly there. Although the resort is a bit far from the town but AKA provides shuttle service to the town/ beaches almost every 30 mins, so I think this place is recommendable as I guess you have to sacrifice sth for a nice & relaxing resort.

This was my third stay at AKA. I am very pleased with the service. The breakfast is better with a lot more selections. Its very peaceful to get away from the city. I will be back again!

Booked the Guti (sometimes refferd to as AKA 2) during its soft launch. Only had 2 other villas occupied during the period. Service was excellent. Food was good but the French menu at the AKA 1 was even better. Only misgiving was that the villas were a little close to each other. Private pool in full view of adjacent villas.

This is a very nice resort with...
This is a very nice resort with beautiful scenes, very quiet and relaxing. You can keep away from the city, however, shuttle van is available throughout the day to the Hua Hin town centre which takes only 15 min, and there are all the shopping and nice food. Resort is with wonderful rooms with a big enough private swimmming pool.
the only thing to criticize is that there's not the "sea" but swimming pool you can find. and internet access only available around the reception area. Even though I brought my notebook there, could not get on line in the internet room as there may be some error setting of my computer. The staff there are willing to help and they offerred the private wireless lan contact to me. Very nice holiday there.

It's a beatifully designed space ,stunning pool and bar/restaurant area in tranquil out of town setting.Drawback is it's well away from everything with a 200 Baht (FOR2) Hotel Bus service into Hua Hin 15 Min - latest pick up return 10 p.m.or take regular taxi back -that's if they can find it....
Mind you once back you will always have the stunning quietness and beauty of the place before you.
We loved it, stayed in a pool villa (own pool/accomm for 4- incl upstairs open day lounger), bathroom and shower were perfectly and tastefully furnished. Shower and bath were actually in a little outside green space, just amazing. -Not overlooked -
The SPA setting was 2nd to none, beautifully done and on that note ALL the staff were just perfect for the place. All very well chosen and suited to the place and ever so nice. -Food - lovely brakfast,excellent chef but since this is a relatively new place,not many people there at night -so perhaps a bit lonely for people who want to eat there.
Dinners were french orientated, also Thai, but a bit expensive we thought. Mind you you can eat wonderful Seafood in Hua Hin for literally £ 20 for 2 -Hotel dinner will set you back around £ 70.00 - Wine very expensive everywhere in Thailand -better to stay with Singa beer or something else. So if you like Zen, piece and calm and have a few pennies spare, as it is not cheap - you'll like this place
