An Excellent Return
It is said that one should never return to the same hotel following a pleasant experience but this was certainly not the case for my wife and I returning to The Sailom for our second visit. We found that the staff, without exception, to be just as friendly and helpful, our room even better than the first time and the food absolutely superb. Despite the hotel becoming quite full with new guests fleeing the flood waters of Bangkok, the quality of service and food never wavered; even the Reception staff assisted in the Restaurant during evening dinner to ensure that service was maintained. We will be returning to Hua Hin in the future and will definately stay at The Sailom.

Choice of breakfast for western guests
A little bit more choice for the western style breakfast would be the only improvement for me. Some bacon and grilled tomato perhaps, baked beans would be great. The Thai food was superb, really superb.

A Beach Hotel near to Huan Hin Town
Nice hotel with friendly staff and good location. The room is big and the bathroom was alright. The breakfast has limited choice. The hotel needs to refurbish as a little bit old.

This hotel had 2 nice pools, but...
This hotel had 2 nice pools, but they were too cold. The room and view was nice. The staff was not very helpful in offering things to do in the area. I was glad that I had only booked for one night. I did like the food at the restaurant. I think they should have lounge chairs for use on the beach.

Very pleased with this hotel mainly because other than an elderly couple who were staying for 3 months, I was the only other farange. Prices very reasonable. The room was very clean although the view was nothing to write home about. The hotel was quiet during the week but in the evenings the restaurant was full of local Thai. Didn't try them out with western food in the evenings but the Thai food was excellent. The staff were first class. They did a good English breakfast but don't think it would satisfy people from other EU countries. I shall stay here again, only down side and its not the Hotels fault but Google shows the location about 4kms North of it's actual location. If you look on Goggle Earth the Hotel is next to Soi(lane) 81.

If you like to walk 3 kilometers...
If you like to walk 3 kilometers on a busy street to reach city center, this place is OK. They also have a coach but they will not tell you until last day. This is also a fine place if you like to be alone on a dirty beach far away from city center and very good if you do not care about a good breakfast. Worst breakfast I ever had. If you are smoking, try another hotel

This was our third visit to Hua...
This was our third visit to Hua Hin but it was the first time that we stayed at The Sailom. Our room was spacious, clean, comfortable and contained two Queen sized beds. The staff, without exception, were polite, friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The food was superb; the restaurant, frequented by many local Thais speaks for itself and was probably the best value for money in the town. The variation of menu of the buffet breakfasts was limited but more than adequate. The hotel is located with direct access onto the beach which we found to be generally clean. Sun beds and umbrellas, provided by the hotel were almost always available, with others situated on the pool decking. The hotel's own taxi service provided very reasonbly priced trips to our required destinations. We would not hesitate to recommend The Sailom and will be sure to stay there again on future trips.

Staff was really nice, they helped us...
Staff was really nice, they helped us in case we needed help. Breakfast was also good and always ready even when we left to different day trips before breakfast time. Thanks you.

Good, fairly small hotel right on the...
Good, fairly small hotel right on the beach. Good buffet breakfasts. Good size of rooms (in main hotel building), which were well serviced. Reception staff helpful. Good aircon. Only downside, too many package tourists with towels on pool and beach chairs before breakfast. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Hotel good value for money. However whilst there are hotel sunbeds on the beach there are no umbrellas. So unless you can stay in the sun all day you need to pay for one. The beach area just by the hotel is dirty and could do with cleaning The beach is better further along
