Before booking the Hotel i made a little investigation and checked all the feedbacks on Trip Advisor re the Hotel - in general it is true but it doesnt reflect what the Resort is. Place looks amazing on the web site- beautiful pictures and great prices - i felt like i am the luckiest person on earth to get such a deal. When we arrived we have discovered that:
1. Hotel is located far away from the city in the middle of nowhere (which was not a problem later as we were using Hotel shuttle bus, but in the beggining we were shocked)
2. There is no public area like in the most Hotels- small reception on a side, 1 restaurant, spa(also on a side), small pool without view and the rest are walls, separating the villas.
3. We were booked in to a Jasmine Villa - very sad, looks good on the web but in real life (without public facilities) - just sad. When we complained they have upgraded us to the pool villa - which was much-much better. Resume- having a pool villa or higher categories makes place more enjoyable.
4. Bathrooms in both categories are probably up to 2 star stabdard. Rooms (sizewise and furniture) is 4 star. Restaurant and room service 3 star. Public area -1 star.
5. B/F is quite asian oriented - large selection of dim-sums, soups etc- but nothing much for europians.
Overall i can say that for money we paid (last minute promotion - around 2500B per night inclusive of B/F and tax)it was ok. Room was enjoyable and every evening we went out to Hua Hin City for dinners and massages. I would not reccomend hotel for families - only budgeted travellers.
