On the outskirts of Hua Hin
You cannot fault the accommodation, the individual bungalows are amazing. with private jacuzzi leading directly into the swimming pool. The accommodation and grounds were kept to very high standards.
As a family we found the resort very quiet, with very limited facilities. The resort is located about 7kms outside of Hua Hin and whilst they do run shuttle buses, in our opinion they were not frequent enough.
There was no shop nearby (within walking distance) from where you could buy basics such as milk.
The food in the Lemongrass restaurant was strictly average and overpriced for it's quality. We opted for the return taxi journey into Hua Hin, dining in Hua Hin was amazing, the choice of restaurants was endless and fantastic value for money.
The golf course was also not within walking distance however the spa and gym were onsite. We found the spa to provide excellent massages and the cost was realistic, of course cheaper options in town were available.
In addition, having booked through Asia Rooms, we expected our roomly rate to be competetive however their were others in the resort paying 20% less per night.

So near, but so far. We stayed two nights and after checking out the resort's website we hoped for a short holiday with the wow factor. Sadly we left feeling a bit let down. Good stuff: The villas are big, clean and great for families. The kitchen is equiped with a microwave, fridge, freezer, two ring hob, plates,cups, glasses and cutlery. And the resort is easy to get to and only a short drive from Hua Hin town centre. Not so good stuff: Our room wasn't ready despite arriving at 1645, we then had to wait an hour before we could get into our room- not great with a hungry 7 month old. The receptionist took pity on us and let us wait in an empty room so we could at least feed our son. The villa's are huge but there is no air conditioning in the living area and it got really hot! We spent most of our time in the air conditioned bedrooms. We booked a pool villa, which from the resort's website looked like we would have a lot of privacy. Not the case. The 80+ villas are packed in and look directly onto each other. There was nothing to screen our terrace and pool from the villa next door. Other problems included a poor water supply- the shower would quickly switch from freezing to boiling (not very baby friendly!), the air conditioned section of the Lemongrass restaurant is small and on both mornings we struggled to find a table for breakfast, the pool villas are very close to the restaurant/reception area and can be noisy, the kitchen doesn't have any equipment to clean or dry dishes and finally the kiddy pool is lacking shade.
A rather negative review. But this resort is not cheap and with the Banyan brand we expected to stay at a premier league hotel, instead we found ourselves in the second division.
It was an absolute pleasure to stay...
It was an absolute pleasure to stay in this new resort. The service is tailormade and personal. We (a group of 12) was picked up at the Bangkok Airport and from there onwards, everything was carefully served. We stayed in a two bedroom villa, the size of the villa is at least 120 sq.m. The furniture is new and all bedrooms have private bathroom. Right outside of the villa is a common pool built like a river passing each of the villa, with individual pool assess.
The first two days we have american breakfast and the last two days we have thai, under our special request. The manager took our request gracefully or though this was not offered initially.
They have new 12 people van bringing all of us to and forth the golf courses and we also were offered free ride to the downtown for dinner and massage. All we need is a telephone call and they will send their van to pick us up.
All in all, I think this is a must stay resort if you are travel with your family or friends and would like to have a nice time together.
