Jack Beach Resort
We stayed over at this small hotel for one night on our drive south from Pattaya to Ko Samui as it was a convenient halfway stop. We liked it so so much that we booked it for our stop-over on the return. Location is idyllic, right on the beach about a mile off the main road an hour's drive south of Hua Hin. But it's in the middle of nowhere so you would need your own transport. We changed to a family room with double bed and two bunk beds, which, at 1,800 baht including ABF for all four of us was excellent value. Rooms are large and the bathroom showers are excellent. For an evening meal the beach-side restaurant serves quite passable Thai and western food at very reasonale prices.
