A quiet retreat
We had a lovely stay at the Bellaya. Staff were friendly and fun. This is a small family run guest house, not a big resort. If you aren't a fan of big hotels or backpacker style accommodation, then this is your best bet. There was only one other couple staying there at the same time, so it really felt like our own private house. Our room opened onto a patio which was good for drying off in the sun after a swim. Pool is small but lovely for cooling off as we didn't like the look of the beach so didn't swim there. Staff will let you rent a moped for 200baht a day which lets you explore more than the touristy beachfront areas. Head back over the railway line and see the real Hua Hin,Breakfast was simple but good and you get a Thai language lesson thrown in for free each morning! Markets were fabulous as was the seafood! Overall, we had a great time and were so glad we chose to stay at Bellaya Resort.
