For peace and quiet set in beautiful surroundings, after 5 days of Bangkok noise, pollution, people, and shopping, this place was heaven. The staff were discreet but there when needed, courteous, and helpful. The riverbank gardens were a delight for strolling or just sitting in.
I hope the other side of the river doesn't get too developed to spoil the natural scenery, or the quitness of the area.
It was no problem getting to town - taxi, hotel shuttle available, or a pleasant walk across the River Kwai bridge.
The one small negative to our stay was the piped music in the garden across from our room.
I recommend this place to all travellers.
