Great location, staff friendly, restraunts and buffet...
Great location, staff friendly, restraunts and buffet breakfast great. Had a few problems with the shower water pressure but it turned out to just be our room. Pool area great for families, the kids had a ball. would recommend going late November to view the River kwai light and fireworks show. The hotel puts on a great dinner and observation pontoon of the event.

Locaton by the river was excellent, and...
Locaton by the river was excellent, and overall ambience was very good. Garden areas were beautiful and the external appearance was appealing. However the swimming pool required cleaning, and bathrooms were poorly maintained and need some renovation. Food and drink were very expensive and uneccessarily so, however overall the hotel was well run and well worth another visit. Thank you again Asia Rooms

This hotel is very good, wonderfull location...
This hotel is very good, wonderfull location and surroundings. The walk (cross the bridge on the river kwai) is not so long and you will find transportation, some shops and restaurants. Getting into town you will need a taxi. At the hotel you can rent a bike. Good value for money.

This hotel is getting a tad old...
This hotel is getting a tad old now but is very well maintained with beautiful gardens. It's within walking distance to town for dinner when you walk in over the river via the bridge, should take about 20 mins. Once finished in town 100 baht will get you home again on the side car type motorbikes. Quite a pleasant journey that takes about 5 mins. Tea and coffee facilities in the rooms would have been better. The service wasn't quite as friendly as some of the other places we stayed at and english was difficult for some of the counter staff. But overall not a bad place to relax.

Have stayed at this hotel twice now, very pleasant both times. Lovely clean rooms and wonderful views of the River and the Bridge. Excellent value for money. Would recommend to everyone!

We stayed here for two nights and...
We stayed here for two nights and had the most wonderful time. The resort is very impressive to look at and the room we had was excellent for the price we paid. The rooms were a decent size and very clean and the balcony was very spacious indeed. Good housekeeping too and there was always hot water available and good AC. We had a Deluxe garden view but to be honest there was not much difference between the river and garden view at all as you can hardly see the river anyway it's so low down. The Brasserie restaurant had a good selection of Thai and international cuisine and the breakfast was very good. A great selection of continental breakfast, toast, cereals and hot food- no complaints! The resort is 5 minutes from the bridge which you can walk over to get to town, or take a taxi to the vehicle bridge another 5 minutes or so. Fantastic views over the River Kwai and the Felix is a graet place to see ot all from. We are planning to come here again in November !

Nice resort on the river, rooms are...
Nice resort on the river, rooms are large and have a large balcony also. The resort itself is huge and also nice and a walk from the bridge. It is however a little out of the action- you have to get transport to really go anywhere. Good Value

For peace and quiet set in beautiful...
For peace and quiet set in beautiful surroundings, after 5 days of Bangkok noise, pollution, people,and shopping, this place was heaven. The staff were discreet but there when needed, courteous, and helpful. The riverbank gardens were a delight for strolling or just sitting in. I hope the other side of the river doesn't get too developed to spoil the natural scenery, or the quitness of the area. It was no problem getting to town - taxi, hotel shuttle available, or a pleasant walk across the River Kwai bridge. The one small negative to our stay was the piped music in the garden across from our room. I recommend this place to all travellers.

Absolutely a very nice hotel, with a...
Absolutely a very nice hotel, with a fantastic garden and pool. Good breakfast and nice restaurant. Very close to River Kwai Bridge, but opposite teh town and restaurants. Good fitness facilities.

Great hotel with helpful staff and fab...
Great hotel with helpful staff and fab facilities. We stayed for two nights and could have stayed longer. It was coming up to the weekend and was starting to get busy. Breakie was a standard AFB in an average lounge. I noticed that the charges for booking excursions from the front desk was quite expensive as was the local hotel taxis to the town.
