The room was great, service excellent, lovely...
The room was great, service excellent, lovely pool and gardens, but the availablity of transport to town was a small drawback. I would highly recommend the hotel.

The Suite room with riverview was very...
The Suite room with riverview was very good. Inroom facilities was great. Big bathroom and 2 big rooms with 2 TV and 2 Minibars. The only problem was that I has stay 5 nights in the Hotel and this is to long for Kanchanaburi. Nico Wirth Luxembourg

We had a lovely time at the...
We had a lovely time at the the Felix, however, the service in the restaurant was very poor. Although there seemed to be plenty of staff available they were not attentive to the customer needs. This was a great shame because when the food actually arrived it was very good. The chef clearly is going to a lot of trouble but this is wasted if the customer is disenchanted before it is served. The other facilites were very good. Beautiful surroundings, nice walks and 2 swimming pools. The bars are also too quiet, mainly I suspect because of the service. We had read that the restaurant service was poor before going but wanted to decide for ourselves.

Location of this resort is only 5...
Location of this resort is only 5 minutes drive from main centre of Kanchanaburi. It is within walking distance of the Bridge over the River Kwai which has shopping markets and restaurants nearby. The facilities of this hotel were excellent, although the service at the dining room/restaurant was quite slow,the food was good and catered for many tastes. I would definately recommend this resort for families and couples.

We would definately recommend the Felix Hotel....
We would definately recommend the Felix Hotel. It was well located, rooms were clean and large. We stayed in a one bedroom suite and our two children had portable beds in the living area which worked really well. The suites were extrememly large and even had a DVD player and music system. Our girls were keen to play some DVD they had purchased. We had a very large balcony overlooking the river and it was nice to relax with a drink in the evening watching the sun set. All the staff were friendly. One tip is to book your tours outside of the hotel and it will cost about a quarter of the price. Venture out of the hotel for dinner. We went to the Apple Guesthouse and had the best meal in Thailand. They also had wonderful day long cooking courses. The area is very interesting with lots to do. Vitit the waterfalls, elephant riding, bamboo rafting, and death railway which can all be done in a day trip.

Excellent, I like this hotel, the breakfast...
Excellent, I like this hotel, the breakfast is good and faster service provided. Water is not quite hot and fitness center is not open at the available time. Anyway, This is a good hotel and excellent service. Also, I like their natural design, it made me very comfortable and the room's design is very good. I LIKE IT!!!!

My husband and I have recently spent...
My husband and I have recently spent 2 days at the Felix River Kwai Resort.  It is a lovely hotel, with excellent pool and gardens, very nice rooms, and especially helpful staff. Although a bit isolated from town, you can walk across the old bridge during the day, only 15-20 minutes, and there is a hotel shuttle at night for only a couple of dollars. Breakfast was also very good, eggs cooked to order, and probably the best pastries I've had in any hotel.  Very good value for money. Highly recommended.
