This hotel chosen by us with help of Lonely Planet guide and internet has an astonishing garden which is well kept.
The rooms are good and clean with a partially open air bathroom.
The service is excellent.
We had almost a private swimming pool due to the low season.
Good price-quality (in low season!)
Only the breakfast was a bit minimal without porridge and without asian food and exclusively western (toast, eggs, sausages and jam and cereal).
Another minor disadvantage is the long walk to the center of town about 15 minutes.

It`s a nice place. We had 6 perfect days.
The service is great, the food is really good.
Nice garden and a clean beach.

Palm Beach Resort Khoalak was beautifull.The gardens are magnificent & it was great to relax on the balcony of our bungalow just watching the birds.Staff are most helpfull and if you have any special requirements they were eager to do what they could.Resturant was good and prices most reasonable. Would recommend booking garden rooms over mountain as there are many steps.We arranged transport to/fro airport with the resort and it was very good, would also recommend.Overall a most pleasant stay, great to see Khaolak back on track after disaster.This was only our 2nd trip back since and We have found Our new home in paradise for future visits.

The location and grounds were beautiful. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The last day we were there, chairs were put out on the beach which was very nice. There should always be a choice of chairs there- not only around the pool. Breakfast outside was also very pleasant on our last day.
Room was very nice. Amenities (soap,shampoo,etc.) could have been a bit better and include a lotion.
