Nice looking beach front resort, very isolated (15 mn drive to khaolak center at 100 baht one way per person, Khaolak center is where you can find few restaurants and stores), abslolutly nothing around, you feel trapped. Because of the tsunami, lots of places were closed, the beach has been cleaned up but you can see the damage it caused. No installation on the beach and no shade (hard you have a kid), you better stay at the swimming pool which is nice enough but desappointing if you are beach people. The hotel is recent. Big, clean and well appointed family suite (2 bedrooms suite with terrace). Limited selection of dishes available at the restaurant and not that good, it could be because of the low season (only 2 or 3 rooms occupied) and the unhelpful waitress keep staring at you while eating. Breakfast is basic and could also be better. Poor english speaking.
