Awesome location on it's own beach. Very quiet and private (no vendors). Worth paying extra to get beach front cabin. Short walk to nearby village. But rent a motorbike to get around. Restaurant has excellent food.

We were very satusfued with our stay, and have only a few suggestions for improvement:
1. Include en extra channel on TV showing english speaking movies
2. Include coca cola light in menu

Very nice place to stay with good value. Food at restaurants was good. The breakfast buffet had a good selection with Thai and Europian dishes. My only complain was the coffee was a large pot of instant coffee. The dinner restaurant food was excellent with good flavors and well prepared. The staff was attentive and friendly. My only complaint with it is, it was difficult to get a table where we could get away from the cigarette smoke. We had to move a couple times to get up wind from the smokers. Apparently, the smoking ban hasn't made it off the mainland.

The restaurant is fair/good, though there are other restaurants on the beach within walking distance.
Rooms bright, clean and functional. Pool looks find, newer used it since the ocean is right there and better anyway.
There is land and water based activities in and around the island, so if just beachlife isn`t you - don`t worry.

Super location, wonderful beach , but hotel needs some maintenance, for instance swimming pool toilet, some bathrooms etc.
Road on hotel premisses is miserable, especially after a rainy night. Would go back during low season, but never from Oct. to Feb. when the prices are double for the same standard.
When I arrived I had to reject 2 "Sea View Rooms" which were in a poor condition and not clean! befor they gave me an upgrade for a decent (Bungalow) accomodation!!

My girlfriend and I had a very pleasant stay at Klong Prao Resort. The location is very nice: white clean and calm beach, relaxing atmosphere, absolutely far from noise and confusion; nice also the Laguna. I reserved the Sea view Bungalow, good room size, well equipped, wooden floor, nice renovated bathroom with separated shower and bath tube; the drinking water in mini bar free of charge. Good choice at breakfast buffet; we tried also the restaurant a couple of times: good quality and reasonable prices. Negative aspects (really not important concerning the overall impression): sometimes not easy finding chairs on the sea side, I cannot imagine during high season considering that now, during low season, probably there were less than 50% of guests. Being far from the main tourist area (White Sand) to find more choice of restaurants and bars in the evening is necessary take a Taxi or rent a moped. Anyway, my impression was absolutely positive; considering also spending 39 Euros per night it's very difficult pretending more.

We spent a month there this summer and had a fantastic time. The location, facilities and staff are all excellent.
This is the place to go if you want a relaxing time with long walks on the beach (huge, clean and safe). It is monsoon season during the summer and we did have a fair share of rain but when the sun came out it was glorious.
We will go back as Koh Change is a beautiful island with lots to do and see.
