KC, Not so Grande Resort & Spa
We recently stayed at KC Grande Resort and Spa. We paid for a non smoking deluxe room with an ocean view. We were shown a room on the ground floor, no ocean view and the room was mouldy. The next room we were shown was a smokers room, not good considering we requested a non smoking room. Third time lucky, we were finally shown a non smoking deluxe room with an ocean view. After we unpacked we discovered the safe was broken and there was no hair dryer. This resort was expensive and we feel it was very poor value and would not recommend it. We are seasoned travellers and have never had cause to write a bad report in the past.
A nice trip in Koh Chang
Originally we booked the garden view villa, but we changed to a building room eventually as it is much more spacious. Both types of rooms are nice and clean, we chose the building room just because it places three single beds. The beach in front of the resort is the most beautiful section of the White Sand Beach, so if you love to relax on the beach, it would be a good choice for you. Maybe it is the low season in Koh Chang (rain in every day), the rooms are not full, there is not much choice in the buffet breakfast.

Over priced!
The hotel is in a great location on a stunning beach. However we paid a lot of money for a very basic bungalow. No coffee making facilities and on day two, no hot water. The accommodation was clean however with air con and a mosquito net.
I would return here if the price matched. The location is perfect, but im sure there is just as good for much less baht!

We were in a hut on the beach which is pre renovation l would suggest payingmore for newer rooms. We still loved it, the pool is amazing and staff are fantastic. The location is great right on the beach near restaurants/ bars etc. Breakfast was always cold, even when they had a baie marie! Faults aside l would definitely recomend this resort and stay there again.

Upon arriving we requested a room with twin beds and were promptly shown 2 different rooms to choose from. Room was in a quiet location, set in nice gardens.
Nice walk to all facilities. Very comfortable stay in a great location, facilities were fine and staff were friendly and helpful.

What an amazing place to stay. The infinity pool is out of this world! The service was great and friendly (allowing for Thai style speed rather than USA style!). We felt as if we were in a 5 star facility.

We stayed here as well as the Dewa on this trip. Both hotels are great but I can see myself returning to KC Grand for a number of reasons. The location is great. The beach has to be the best on Koh Chang.
It was great being able to sit out on the balcony and enjoy the sunsets.
The bathroom could be renovated but they are clean and would not stop me from returning.
