Englishman working in NE Thailand

Yes , Very Good.
Everything seems very expensive to me in Koh Chang - Beer 4 times more than I pay in Roi Et in the Isaan (I work as an English Teacher here) - backwoods - North East Thailand - but normal prices for a Thai holiday resort and you have transportation costs as well.
I'm not used to seeing so many Falang (foreigners) - or tatoos (why do Swedes etc love them ?)
or white cellulite LOL! or 55555555555555! Ha is 5 in Thai !
But Paddys Palm Hotel - very good - I had deluxe room - 1,400 Baht ....... my friend stayed in another hotel nearer the beach ..... 3,000 Baht .................. our room was better and quieter !!!!!!!!
Oh and for English / British .................. much better breakfast too!!!!!!!!!!

good hotel

Paddy's Palms is an excellent value hotel in White Beach, Koh Chang. The rooms are very clean and airy and there is a nice pool at the back. The breakfast is excellent - real back bacon and hot eggs (as opposed to cold in other hotels). We wanted to stay longer but they were full!
I would thoroughly recomment this hotel.

The place to stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our accommodation. It was great value and the pool wonderful. Staff friendly. The only thing I would have loved is an electric kettle in the room. I have had many express the same complaint in other hotels and I think this would be a great boost if they were supplied. The meals at the bar we found rather expensive so tended to eat downtown on most occassions.
But would certainly stay here again if staying at White Sand Beach on Koh Chang.

I have just returned froma 3 week holiday in Thailand and spent 6 days on Koh Chang at the Paddy`s Palms Resort with my thai girlfriend. We both had an amazing time although it was a bit wet at times.The room was lovely and clean and very spacious. We swam every day in the brilliant swimming pool and ate every day in the bar restaurant. I loved it all and I would like to thank all the staff at the resort for making it such a lovely stay. I will be recommending it to my friends should they go to visit Koh Chang.
