never again
the description on line was false it statted 100m from beach it was a 15 minute walk. other web sites stated that but not on asia.com family room air con did not work, moved to smaller room no reduction in price, bed was un sleep able springs on bed on service left after one night
You get what you pay for
This was a very cheap room at 700 bt so I chose an upgrade to delux double for 990 bt. There was a musty smell in the room and bathroom had mould on the ceiling. The pool area was good quality. Parking presented a problem as space was limited.
Having stayed here for 3 nights we moved a few kilometres to a far better resort at more expensive price.
Sofia garden
This hotel is fairly remote, however taxis pass every few minutes to the nearby shops and beach. Pool is good, no beach however. Resort has that "not quite finished" look about it but it was a pleasant stay. Menu wont be to everyones taste. Apart from being a bit remote, it was a pleasant stay.

The folks at the Resort of friendly and helpful.
The room was kept clean, however the Matttress in my room was a Joke, next to impossible to get a good sleep. It is a typical cheap Thai Mattress made up of a couple of boards with some basic springs in between,covered in a fabric.
Not that I was there to watch TV, but the reception was very very poor to say the least.
Out of choice I would not go back ...........
Pet friendly
If you are travelling with a pet this is the place - our puppy was made very welcome not only by the resort but also it's cat !!
Otherwise you might look elsewhere.

It is5 minutes up the main road - another 5 minutes down the side of the Amari and a smelly lagoon then across some waste land. It is not really worth the effort !
The rooms are fine but the restaurant overlooks the car park and bike shed !

This is a great resort and we loved our time here.
The rooms are spacious and great value for money, cleaned every day and the pool is a decent size with a nice area around it.
Rent a bike for 200baht a day and explore the island.
Overall we were really happy with Sofia garden resort I would definitely recommmend it, thanks.

a scandinavian hospitality
this accomodation is realy ok. good value for money. if you are looking for some relaxing stay, you'll find it here. as I wrote in the title it is scandinavian hospitality: cold (on the third day, we got a "Hello" back). but if you are from finnland - it might help. If you don't care about that, it is clean, has a nice pool, and good breakfast.

WiFi don't work, for internet (free) you must stay in reception.
Location good only if you rent a motobike (200bht/day), they have a lot.

This is a lovley spot but you need a bike on this island sofia charge 200bt a day so cheap this is a small resort so it is good if you like no noise the shower room was not to good no soap or bits you get every were else but it worked he he
