This is my second time at Away, and will definitely return. It's one of those rare, quiet places where you can go to recharge. We loved the beach, and the views are stunning. The staff is absolutely amazing; it's like they can intercept your thoughts and are ready to oversee all your needs even before you ask for something. Management has changed since I first visited two years ago, and is much better. I simply have nothing negative to say except...the food is slightly overpriced, but that's probably just because of my limited budget.
It is really away from your normal life
The hotel name is away Koh kood. I totally enjoyed my stay in this hotel. If you want to escape from your daily busines. This hotel will be great choice.
Thing to be takens noted: last speed boat ferry will at 1pm so if you want to catch this ferry you'd should arrived before this time but if you miss it you can ferry services approx 2 hours journey to ao salad. But this 2 hours journey is very worthy too which you can see other side Koh kood.

Nice resort but very remote location with...
Nice resort but very remote location with no direct beach access.
We stayed in one of the tent bungalows. Unfortunately we were not alone, had a 4 legged visitor with a tail visiting us during the night. Not what we would expect.

The Away resort was pretty fantastic. The view on the ocean is great, especially from the front row of rooms. Even during the hot month, the fans were enough in the tents, so if you are on a budget this is the way to go. We stayed one night in the front rooms with AC and these were great value as well. The free kayaks were fun and it is easy to use them to get over to the nice beach, which is actually quite long. The food at the resort and wine was a bit pricy but for a resort pretty reasonable. I would highly reccommend this place and will go back.

The beautiful and wonderful resort. Although there is no swimming pool, but there is a clean beach opposite the resort's pier, and you can walk, kayak or swim to there (about 100M). The restaurant isn't good enough ( food and service), and little bit expensive. Island Tent is real Tent, it's special experience for me.
