Stayed at Royal Lanta in Low Season....
Stayed at Royal Lanta in Low Season. Advised best other than 5 star at this time of year. Correct, very happy taking advice. Everywhere extremely quiet. Only thing happenning on beach was local soccer at night. Very few of the usual properties and resturants even open. Beach not kept clean this time of year. Hotel was close to town so we could easily access waterfront restuarants still open. Hotel served good reasonably priced food and drinks so we ate there quite often. Rooms large, no bath and could do with little more light for reading. No tea coffee facilites which we found unusual for price.

Right on the beach with lovely roomy...
Right on the beach with lovely roomy bungalows, we were very happy with our choice of the Royal Lanta. And Ko Lanta was probably our favourite destination on our trip to Thailand (our first, but not last!!) Excellent diving from Lanta Divers and a good elephant trek too! The staff at reception were so helpful and frinedly.

All of the staff at Royal Lanta...
All of the staff at Royal Lanta were lovely, it's a really pretty resort and the pools and spa are great. We were upgraded to an amazing room with a jacuzzi which made it even more special. It's on quite a busy beach but the resort is so nice we didn't really look around the island much and it was nice to be able to walk to beach bars in the evening, we had a really great time!

Great Resort with excellent facilities, close to...
Great Resort with excellent facilities, close to Saladan the local town. staff at reort were excellent always ready to assist when required. Excellent position on the beach with great sunsets over Phi Phi island.

Although the room was disappointing and not...
Although the room was disappointing and not at all like the photos on the website the setting of the hotel is perfect, right on the beach. Excellent service from delightful staff. We were fortunate as it was quiet not sure it would be so peaceful in high season.
