Overall we were satisfied with our stay...
Overall we were satisfied with our stay at the resort. The two twin beds were however uncomfortable as the mattresses were sagging on one side. (Perhaps the room cleaners could flip them regularly.)
I accept that the hotel caters predominantly for Muslims, but I do think the resort should clearly state on its website that no alcohol (wine, etc) is available and that none can be brought onto its premises.
We are not Muslim, and do not drink beer. We enjoy our tradition of having a glass of wine with food, so this rule did spoil the dining experience somewhat.
Koh lanta is nice place but this...
Koh lanta is nice place but this hotel is not. Very dirty place and everywhere smell poo. Beach is not for good for swimming, but next beach is really nice. They have good snorkeling trips here. There were near a mosgue(50 meters). Every morning about 5:00 am muslim start their prayer session very loudy. Pool is very dirty.

Seaside is maximum 2 minutes from the room. Beach is excellent in a small place. Some rocks for life.
Only one pier close to the hotel for the hotel beside but not a lot of activities of boats.
Many proposal for activities in and around Koh Lanta Yai.
Only one drawback I noticed: the mosque start first call at 5.00 AM but it is not so disturbing.
I hated my stay at Lanta Palace....
I hated my stay at Lanta Palace. 1stly the hotel took extremely long to confirm our reservation. The hotel looks totally isolated and the pool is green. They need to upkeep the breakfast area as it is a mess and our air conditioner broke down which resulted in it flooding in our room. The towels and bed sheets were filthy and it did not feel as though we were staying in a hotel. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone it is really terrible!!

Ko Lanta is is qieter with not...
Ko Lanta is is qieter with not so many tourists.Lanta Palace Resort is familier with friendly staff and owner.
Beach at low tide not good for swimming, many stones and rocks. Recommend day trip to Koh Rok (snorkeling). All in all nice place for relaxation.
Lanta Palace is lovely. The bungalows...
Lanta Palace is lovely. The bungalows are basic but air conditioned and very clean. The food is nice and cheap. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Koh Lanta itself is very quiet and a good place to relax. Not as lively as Phi Phi. Definately worth doing a day trip to Koh Rok, its has perfect white sandy beaches.
