nice place
Nice hotel, quiete, good location (far from bars and noisy people), nice swiming pool, nice tropical garden...the room was not as nice as I though but it was correct, we've spent a very nice week over there...

The location is perfect. It´s supercalm and...
The location is perfect. It´s supercalm and cosy. The room is okey but the bathrooms could have been better. But overall it´s a perfect place to cool down and have a real holiday.

My wife and I stayed for three...
My wife and I stayed for three nights. It was just what we wanted; quiet, peaceful and a beautiful view from our executive bungalow on the beach. While the facility was slightly below the luxury level, the pool, beach, and staff were top-shelf. I should add that we used the rented motor scooter each day to enjoy the island, for without this we would have been bored. There is nothing of interest within walking distance. My own favorite point about the resort was the location between two bays. This afforded an excellent breeze all day and evening as well.

This was not our first choice of...
This was not our first choice of hotel on Koh Lanta (the hotel we wanted was booked up)and we were a little worried about its location at the end of the beach. This proved to be not a problem in fact it added to our enjoyment. The hotel is located at the end of the beach and despite other areas being busy our part was quiet and peaceful.There is also some fantastic snorkling off the beach (my daughter and partner who live in Port Douglas felt the variety of fish rivalled the Great Barrier Reef - though not the coral). A short walk took you to the main part of the beach with a choice of restaurants and bars. There were also fantastic sunsets from main part of the beach. Whilst we did have a couple of problems during our stay (noisy airconditioning, lack of outside chairs and a plank on the walkway breaking) the hotel resolved these issues quickly and to our complete satisfaction. The hotel was a little jaded - the walkways were beginning to rot and were being replaced piece by piece making this quite obvious, the sunbeds were a little worse for wear (and not really enough for the size of the resort). We were looking for somewhere where we could 'chill out' and we felt that this hotel provided us with this at a price we felt reasonable.
