The key issues that we found are as follows: The SPA which we were looking forward to using was closed for the duration of our stay. We paid extra for an outside bathroom which was not really appealing ( suggest that other people booking this resort do not bother). We spoke to the reception in the morning to arrange a day-trip for the following day (details agreed), we returned late back in the eveining and found that nothing had been arranged which meant that it was too late to make alternative arrangements. Other than that the resort was clean and quite pleasant. In my opinion the beaches are better further South of the Island.

Very good location, very good service. Everything what was outside the room was perfect, pool, garden, beach but I did not like the room, It was ok, but not perfect. And we never find out how can we use the outdoor bathroom, and we did not want to use it. The bathtub did not look very comfortable.
This is really a very good resort. We were there in early Sep 2006 (low season) and got a good deal. The beach front Family Villa is really fantastic, it comes with a spacious living room, pantry and a bath tub in the private garden (back yard). The room is clean and comfortable. The staff is also friendly and helpful, very attentive. How much we wish we could stay longer. We would love to go back to Lanta Sand Resort again.
