Very beautiful but..
Very nice hotel, nice beach, nice pool, nice rooms. Some irritating points however: we stayed one week and only had cold water in the bathroom for 2 days, you have to wake up early if you want to have sunchairs as people reserve their sunchairs from 7am even though they only use them in the afternoon, staff will help you booking tours and taxi (at the most expensive rates you can find)
excellent resort
in this hotel I felt at home and had a good feeling from the first moment. everything is just fine here, the rooms are very big and you have everything you need. the location just on the beach could not been better and the pool is also very nice. staff here, from the front desk to the restaurants to the girls making the rooms, everyone very friendly. can higly reccomend this hotel.

Extremely helpful staff, they'll do their best to sort anything you need if you have problems with anything. One even offered me her scooter to go to the shops on! Rooms are nice especially when youve been roughing it for a bit! Nice pool, looks out right onto the beach. Shame the beach was a bit of a state when we were there due to the tide coming in so far and some big waves. Bathrooms are great aswell. Breakfast was included in the room price and went down a treat. Not the greatest but the breakfasts In Thailand arent that great anywhere. TV worked a treat, some good channels for the evening when it was raining. All in all a nice place, was very 'off season' when we were there though, so their were maybe 4 guests at the whole place. Would recommend to anyone looking for a little bit of comfort while roughing it, as it was good value.

Our stay was absolutely fantastic. We were upgraded to villa's and they were beautiful. The staff were very friendly. The sunsets were amazing. We hired scooters and had a ball. Would definately go back again.

We stayed for 2 nights and got upgraded to the vilas on our arrival. The rooms are a great size and bathroom was clean. The pool is nice and over looks the beach. The dining area is nice but there meals are only okay. Breakfast was abit hit and miss. The staff are very helpful and helped us organize mopeds to get around the Island. We would stay here again.

Nice resort right on the beach. Rooms are spacious and clean. The only downside was the ants in the room. Pool area is a little bit small, but still nice. Staff is friendly and helpful.
Before travelling to Koh Lanta we reasearched...
Before travelling to Koh Lanta we reasearched many hotels and decided on Lanta Casuarina, we are really glad we did. Our impression on arrival was of efficiency but very friendly, location was excellent we couldn't get closer to the beach.Reviews on Asia Rooms were exactly correct in our opinion,we did try to book a superior room and were a little disappointed not to get a sea view which would have been fabulous, although we settled for a standard room which was good but no outlook, not really a problem. Everything was excellent, breakfast,rooms,pool,location,we particularly enjoyed the 15min stroll up the beach to a host of good cheap restaurants. If we were being hyper critical the only slight bad points were a) breakfast staff slow on coffee refills,yes not a major problem ?? but worse was the residents early rising to secure sunbeds in the best areas even when they were going out for the day, this really irritates,and I feel the hotel should take a stand against this practise, but overall a fabulous stay & highly recommended by us.

This is the second time we been...
This is the second time we been there. The hotel is good and the people who work there are so nice. It´s also good for families with small children.
We stayed one week in Villa 02/09....
We stayed one week in Villa 02/09. Location of the hotel and our villa were perfect, right next to beach. Villa was big and bed was good. However, the cleanliness was not perfect:there were quite meny spidernets on the wall and same soap stains in the bathroom whole week. Some of the hotel crew were very helpfull and friendly, some were unhelpfull and seemed tired to serve hotelguests. Poolarea was very nice and beach also. Very good for swimming. Overall, hotel was nice suprise and I can recommend it.
