The hotel is near the see. The room was not modern, to much wood. The bed is realy to hard for the back. The swimming pool was very nice and special. Our breakfast was simple, just like in the other hotels we visited during our holiday. There are very much stairs to make if you go to the swimming pool, the beach or even to the restaurant. The hotel is a romantic and quiet place.

This Hotel has a very fascinating location, but its biggest problem is the small river coming down from the village in front of the hotel's 'Stone beach'. The water of that river is extremely polluted and could be really dangerous for the health of the customers who want to swimm into the sea in that area.

Panviman was perfect, just what we had imagined! We had been on Samui for 10 days and had come for a full moon party, knowing Panviman was just far enough away for a nice rest! We loved it's wildness, not as manufactured as some hotels, but luxurious enough for us to feel spoiled. We found reaching it via the dirt track quite exciting! we found the location perfect for our last few days of chilling out before returning home. Nice and quiet after a hectic holiday...a few really nice beach bars that we ate at at night rather than the Panviman restaurant, which we found a bit TOO quiet. Lovely Spa.... We would recommend and visit again

Panviman was absolutely amazing - from the time we were picked up from the ferry to every aspect of looking after our needs and wants during our stay, the customer service was exemplary. We even extended our trip by an extra night it was so good. Stunning location, beautiful beaches, plenty to do (or simply sit by one of the many pools or private beach sipping cocktails), this place has it all. Very highly recommend for couples and families alike.

We were upgraded to a Deluxe room and were absolutely satisfied and would fully recommend this hotel. Every detail (like room, breakfast, service, etc) were perfect. The only problem ist the offroad-style road to the hotel, therefore it is highly recommended to previously ask to get picked up at the ferry pier. Also the water quality at the nearby beach was not good enough to snorchel, therefore one should consider to book a longtail boat to get to the nearby reef.

Such a lovely place! Absolutely right for people who want a quiet and peaceful atmosphere. We got a Superior Bungalow with a balcony and sea view, which was abolutely ok. Nicely furnished with a good and quiet running aircon. The breakfast, which you have with a seaview also, was delicious with a big variety of food. Fresh fruits, Salad, Thai food, but also Toast, Jam and Cornflakes. The Omelette is recommendable! There are a lot of restaurants close by, we had dinner every night at another place. The food was always very delicious. The Hotel has a big Pool area and also some chairs directly on the beach, where we spent our days. To get to the beach there are some steep steps. You can do cycling, snorkeling, hire a kajak or go on a boattrip around the Island or to Ko Tao, but we only used the Massage Salons in the Village. We asked the Hotel for the transfer, they arranged it for us for 650/550 Baht p. p., which is a little bit more expensive but also more comfortable. We´d love to stay there again.

Excellent hotel! Great staff; stylish, good understanding about what hospitality is. Breakfast very good; lots of variety. Fantastic swimming pool. We stayed in the Deluxe Cottage - nr 6310 which is the very last one in the resort (nice for honeymooners!). A "golfcar" transported us all the time; no pain at all. Immediate service and just a few minutes drive, which is even nice. Dinner in Beach restaurant very good - live band could be better though, was a bit cheap. Service at beach also excellent. Child friendly but also ideal for couples. Bay Ao Thong Nai Pan Noi also great choice; several nice restaurants and bars on the beach. Great atmosphere. Stayed there 6 days, which was enough.Transport by means of hotel taxi was good; the road is indeed not was you are used to but nothing to worry about. Takes one hour from the Pier (Thong Sala). Bring your CD's along; there is a CD player in the room!

We enjoyed our stay very much. We stayed 5 nights in a regular room and found it more than sufficient in size and comfort. The location is really awesome - up in the hills with a great view over the sea. Even though the resort was fully booked we never felt this, there was always a nice table free in the restaurants and enough space at the pool. The beach is also really nice. If the part in front of the resort is too crowded you can always walk off a little bit and you'll have plenty of space. The only little distracting bit was the longboat traffic but you'll get used to it and its quite common for all Thai islands I guess. Along the beach there are about 5 different restaurants and bars which are actually a little cheaper and better than the resort's ones. Dining at the beach at night and relaxing with some cocktails and lounge music was the best thing and is definitely much better than what you'll get in Samui or other crowded tourist resorts!
