Great experience
My stay at First Villa, Ko Phangan was a great experience that I'll remember for the rest of my life. I went there for Full Moon Party. My room was in front of the beach and the view was amazing. It's may not be a 5 star hotel but it's worth your money. The staff and the person in charge of the hotel, Mr Duncan was extremely nice and friendly. They helped me organized our day trip and transport. I definitely will be going there again next time. Cheers..
Average hotel
We stayed at this hotel as it was close to the half moon party.
The hotel had a lovely pool and bar, but the rooms really let it down. We had a basic room (which was probably why), but even so there was a really nice relaxed feel about the place.
I would recommend this hotel, but if I was to stay there again, I would definitely pay extra for an upgraded room.

great place to stay
we stayed here while on this island and we found it was amazing quite and relaxing after travelling for weeks was great place to unwind to chill and staff were very nice and food was great too! have to say was one of the best places we stayed and would love to go back
First Villa May 2011
First Villa is by far the best place I have stayed at in my time in Thailand. Quite far from the Haad Rin, but it is worth it with the beachside pool and the quiet atmosphere, you really feel like you are on holiday. The people are quite friendly, and the service was very good. When I am back in Koh Phenang, I will definitely stay back here in First Villa.
Best place i ever been in Baan tai
I couldn't believe, that places like "1 Villa" still exist in Phangan and whole Thailand. It was like 7 y ago, when I visited this country 1-st time. Warm family atmosphere. very quiet, big swimming pool. Recomment to upgrade your bungalow to "Beachfront".
Food is good, location is perfect, especially if you driving motorbike or bicycle (can rent right there).
Rooms are Ok - in standard.

i have travelled thailand many times over the past 20 years and said this would be my last trip here as i felt it had changed so much over the years
thank god i found this place it is just what made me fall in love with this beautiful country all those years ago
the location is perfect i booked to stay one night and stayed 18 just could not leave it is right on the beach with the luxury of a nice clean swimming pool and a jacuzzi overlooking the bay and sitting in this at night with a cocktail watching the sunset really does speak for it self
the food was spot on and would cook any thing you asked for they even seem to be good at the western food as well nothing was a problem and the kitchen i must say is the cleanest i have ever seen in thailand
my accommodation was a bungalow with sea view and swimming pool in front i had a jacuzzi in my bathroom and bed was comfortable clean and room was cleaned every day with free water and nice white clean towels
a tv, mini fridge and use of a safety deposit box
this resort just reminded me of how thailand was it is still unspoilt with a lovely friendly family that made you feel part of the family
it is people like this that gave thailand the name land of smiles
if you want the full moon party then a taxi is about 100bht each way and they come down to the resort and pick you up you can hire motor bikes from the reception infact they will sort what ever you want
if you are going to this island give this place a look in believe me you wont be sorry i will definitively be back
