My stay at this resort was extremely disappointing. Firstly the resort itself is expensive to get to (by long boat only). Once there, the beach was grubby and not as idyllic as I remembered it to be. (I stayed here in 2002 and it was beautiful!)
The bungalows are old and in need of complete refurbishment. The decor was rather depressing and certainly over priced. As for the rest of the resort, a poor buffet breakfast (which was swamped by flies) is included in the price, the swimming pool is in need of TLC and there appeared to be a problem with birds. The manager informed me that they were having problems with rats too!!
Ko Phi Phi is beautiful, Natural resort is NOT.

Phi Phi island is realy wonderfull, and Laem Beach is a great paradise for holidays. The PhiPhi Natural resort is very well situated and not expansive (Standard room) for this location. So it's a good deal for this beach. The hotel is clean and people are very nice, speaking a lot of languages, and very helpfull in everything. BUT, it's realy a shame that the "natural touch" seem to be design by a camping manager. A so nice place with a so poor taste in outside decoration. Comparing with Baan Krating Jungle Beach in Phuket (same concept, same price), the hotel outside realy looks like a camping... such a shame, it could be so nice with a more inspirate garden manager !
Anyway, the Hotel Team is realy nice, the ile is fantastic and we had 4 wonderfull days in Phi Phi Natural resort.

It is very quiet and beautiful hotel along south-east corner of PiPi Island.

This resort had seen better days and was slightly run down and in need of refurbishment. It is in a beautiful location with wonderful greenery and flowers and was thoughtfully set out so the bungalow felt quite private. The pool and poolside area were far too small for the number of guests (and it was pretty quiet when we were there). Breakfast was ok but not really very good although the Christmas Eve gala dinner was great and very good value (if you could eat enough!)and the entertainment was - well, entertaining. A very quiet beach (apart from a few boat loads of daytrippers) but very little choice of places to eat (only one local bar). Having said all that it was still pretty good value for money.

We booked general room but due to overbooked, we were promoted to villa, that made definitely over value!!! The hotel is huge, the swimming pool is small but nice, overlook the beautiful sea. The shortage is the bartender, she did all the cocktail according to the recipe and made the cocktail really not nice.
Not suitable for those who does not...
Not suitable for those who does not prefer outdoor and insects.
