Ko Phi Phi Island Village is PARADISE! It is the perfect honeymoon destination, very quiet and beautiful. It was our honeymoon and we did a circuit of all Thailand and stayed in many great places but when we arrived to Ko Phi Phi Island Village we both finally felt we were on honeymoon. Everything was perfect, we stayed in the beachfront bungalows but all classes of bungalows are beautiful. The hotel runs tours to nearby islands and activities, which are expensive but worth doing. We went diving in the coral reefs and it cost us much more than in Tonsai Bay (the main town of the island) but in saying that, the two of us had an instructor just for us, so I guess that´s why you pay more. We extended our stay, and would have extended it more but we had already booked and paid for hotels in Krabi and Bangkok so we had to move on with regret. I recommend to stay here at least 5 days - we stayed 3 nights and it´s not enough. One thing to watch out for - if you are flying to Phuket from Chiang Mai (which is the most typical way to do it), the Thai Airways flight (the only flight) arrives at 14.30 which is the same time as the last ferry leaves the pier in Phuket town, so it means you HAVE to spend one night in Phuket. This was not indicated clearly anywhere. Also the ferry takes at least 2 hours t oget to Tonsai, and maybe another 30 minutes from Tonsai by longatil boat to the resort. So it is difficult to access, but this is also why it´s an unspoilt paradise. Just leave a half day for travelling to and from the mainland. This is pure luxury and indulgence and absoultely fantastic
