The location according to me was just perfect, it was slightly away from the night clubs etc and had a fantastic view. An individual spacious cottage at this price is fantastic value offer. The service isn't great, but then in such a place you hardly want any. The cottage has a fantastic balcony with beach chairs where you can laze around watching the scenery. So if you willing to walk for 10-15 mins to reach the place from the pier, its a 100% value deal

WOW, what a great location. Just far enough away from the'madening crowds' of Phi Phi, but close enough to walk to.
We had a deluxe villa, great size, and perfect views. The room was spacious, spotless clean, clean linen everyday, large balcony with sun loungers ideal for relaxing on after a hard day at the pool or on the beach. Mini bar well stocked :-)
The decor was a little tired in the room, but they were systematically upgrading the rooms. That said, it would not stop me from going back, the views are fantastic.
The pool is a perfect hideawy if the beach is not your thing, when we were there, i think we saw 2 other couples use it.
Breakfast selection was good, real buffet style, where you have to get your own milk. No complaints with quality of the food.
We will be returning.

A perfect location for a romantic getaway! Absolutely fabulous view of the bay from every bungalow. Very close a small little cute beach. We had to walk across the beach to get to the resort which added to the atmosphere. Would highly recommend!

It is a nice hotel, quiet but near the town center, we can enjoy the food beside sea, room is big enough and price is reasonable, I will be there next time to PP island.

Each room has a good view. 5-10 minutes walk to the restaurants and 15-20 mins walk to the pier. Service is average, location is very good. It might be difficult for the elder to walk through the steep road to the room. But for me it's ok.

This place is a bit far from the pier. 20 mins walk is definately a good time to swing hands with your love on the beach. Hotel provides free transport to pier twice a day at 8:10 and 2pm. otherwise, you have to pay 80 baht taking Long tail boat. Nice view from large balcony and it is absolutely recommended to wake up a bit early in the morning and enjoy the fresh air and sun rise while re-napping at the bench chair there.
Toilet is really really lousy and small. Water is salty but for that much $$ you pay. I would say it is still worthy.

Our family group of 7 adults joined up from all parts of the world and we journeyed from Bangkok to Phi Phi and then spent 5 nights at Bay View Resort. Having read some of the previous mixed reviews we were unsure what to expect. Bay View was fine for us. We enjoyed it. No problems at all, on the contrary we found staff and facilities very nice. We enjoyed the location as the night time noise from the village was quite noticable. The resort is about 15 minute walk from the village. The village is busy busy. Some folk might find the hillside layout a problem as the tracks are sleeply inclined so if you cannot or do not wish to walk far, ask for a unit close to the reception. The beach in front of the reception/restaurant is great. Good long tail boat availibility. We snorkelled, dived and genarally made the most of the beautiful island. We have no hesitation in giving Bay View a good all round OK.

A little bit far away from the jetty, 15 minutes walk. Luckily, Hotel provide free transportation for our heavy luggages.

I chose this hotel based on the reviews in Asiarooms, most of them are very accurate. Nice room, with good view from the balcony overlooking Tonsai bay. Location wise, it depends on your agenda. If you like serene, quiet, peaceful, romantic place to stay then here's the place to stay. About 15 mins slow walk to Phi Phi town, and 20 mins to the Pier. One more thing.. we experience some black-out incidents, but hotel staff rectified after sometime. so a small torchlight will come in handy. okay, enjoy ur stay! :)
