Hidden
This particular resort is rather hidden, there are no signs to show you how to get there, for about the last 20m, there are no roads leading to the resort, you would have to walk on the beach to get there. And the slopes leading up to your room, it is so steep that should you be bringing any old folks there, you better make sure they could scale those hills. Rather quiet and eerie while walking back to your room after the sun set.

My girlfriend and I had a great time here. Very relaxing! The rooms are on a steep hill, but not real dramas.

The best thing about the hotel is that it is right on the beach. Although the beach is not the best for swimming, it is easy to get to the other beaches by longboat. As it is located at the far end of the beach, it is quiet and offers privacy and at the same time it is a walking distance to where all the shops and restaurants are located. But as the rooms are situated on a hill, it is not advisable for families with little kids and older people. The hotel was very efficient at picking us up and dropping us at the ferry pier. The price during the X-mas/ New Years period was quite expensive. Overall we had a nice stay!!

Good life at Phi Phi islands
A good resort at Phi Phi. The staff are very service minded. Nice bungalows, with big balcony. The bungalows are clean. The resort has a swimming pool and two Thai massage places. The breakfast is very good, with a chef making your omelette :)
The only thing to complain about is the mosquito's, but they are everywhere on island, after sun is down. But you have free mosquito killers in your bungalow :)

I was at Bay View Resort 5...
I was at Bay View Resort 5 nights and everything was perfect. The location is wonderful. Probably, one of the best choises in Phi Phi.

I really enjoyed my stay at Bayview...
I really enjoyed my stay at Bayview because the service was very friendly and overall very professionell. It's also a great location because you can walk everywhere while still being a bit secluded. Some of the bungalows in the higher rows are a bit of a hike to get to because the hill is quite steep but the views are delightful. Also, the noise of the generator at night might annoy some sensitive travellers in bungalows 101,201,301,401. You do get used to that though and with the aircon on you hardly hear it. During wet season there is a lot of construction work on all Thai islands. Again, if you're sensitive to noise (like I am) be careful with any long term bookings in advance. This place was one of the few resorts on Phi Phi where there wasn't any construction work during my stay (July August 2009)but this can change tomorrow. Because Bayview is also the last resort on this beach it's still very quiet while still within 10 minutes walk of the action. I would stay there again and can highly recommend it!

Our 9-day stay at the BayView was...
Our 9-day stay at the BayView was fantastic. The service is excellent and the food fresh and healthy. The facilities were very satisfactory considering the excellent vista over tonsai bay. If you want to relax, swim, read, chill out then this is the place. We recommend using the BayView kayaks (reasonable rate of 150 Baht/hour) to paddle to shark point for a snorkeling adventure or long beach for a swim. We would always stay at the BayView if we returned to Phi Phi Don.

Very nice view at Phi Phi Ley....
Very nice view at Phi Phi Ley. Good restaurant, little small beaches near by (you can walk to them by a path in the mountains). we travelled with two small kids (1 and 4) and we had an appartment high up the mountain. We had to climb but the the view was worth it!!
