Clean & Spacious but nothing spectacular
We arrived in Phi Phi and quickly received directions from a staff member on the pier. Within 20 minutes we'd walked to the hotel and were greated with delicious fresh juice and cold towels.
The room was clean but the light was burnt out in the shower of an already very dimly light bathroom. As we were only there two nights and the front desk staff didnt speak much english we didnt try to explain the issue. In fairness I'm sure they would have changed. The A/C worked great and the location was perfect, close enough to the center of action but far enough from the noise.
The pool was delightful and loved the coffee shop. Great coffee and drinks that are delivered at the pool. Decent breakfast that came with the room.
Needed a dependable place, didnt want any drama or to have to bargain but felt for the money would have expected a bit more. No shampoo or lotion in the bathroom. Wouldnt say not to stay there but might try some other places in the area that seemed newer.

bad hotel, definetly not worth the money....
bad hotel, definetly not worth the money. I will not come back. the rooms are clean but here it ends. air con barely works, no water preasure, far from the city. do not stay here

There were lots of mosquitos in the room and bathroom. The mosquitos came in through the open air bathroom. The bathroom was not very clean, and the sheets on the bed were stained.....The buffer breakfast was very simple and not very appetising.
Their "famous" restaurant was closed on most of the nights during my stay as there was some sort of altercation involving the owners of the restaurant. I heard bottles being smashed and shouting. The police were called, and the restaurant was closed down for the few days I was there. During my stay there was always a group of men drinking and hanging around out the front of the hotel all day and night - this didn't make me feel very safe either.
The ladies at the massage cabana were the only nice thing about my whole experience.

We have two comments to help the hotel improvments:
1) Hotel has a travel agency in the lobby, this worker is impolite and a little rude. We didn't like how he contacted us to sell his trip packages and he didn't help us.
2) Breakfast really really bad. All waitress were eating by hands in the same breakfast time, cooked foods were cold, and juice were hot, there was no cubs of ice. Nobody support us. Not so clean.

Our bungalow was one of the front ones facing the beach which had a beautiful outlook. The only problem was the noise from the music playing at the front bar whch went till 2am every night!

We had an o.k. stay at Phi Phi Villa. Don't be fooled by the picture as the luxury delux villas do not really look nearly as nice! For the amount of money I paid for a luxury delux villa it is very much over priced (the most expensive accomodation we had in Thailand) comapred to other hotels in Phuket and Bangkok it was again not nearly as nice. If our room was a bit disappointing I wonder what the delux villa looks like? Staff were helpful after our air con broke down and moved us quickly to another room. Expect some noise from the near by nightlife, great bar however. About a 10min walk into the main part of Phi Phi. We enjoyed using our balcony to have a beer and play scrabble however would have enjoyed it far more knowing the villa was a lot cheaper!

This was a very basic room although it was called a deluxe bungalow. The fridge did not work when you were not in the room. There were no handtowels. The sheets were stained. The safe did not work. The air con was not very good because the doors did not seal properly.There was no free water every day.
