Great holiday resort, with an incredible white...
Great holiday resort, with an incredible white sand beach. I booked a deluxe room (a small but perfectly clean and well furnished bungalow) facing the sea, it has been a pure delight. Nearby the hotel, you can rent a motorbike for the day at one of the many rental shops, or go on a boat ride for the day, including lunch, fishing and snorkeling. The best of all: dinner on a mat on the beach, in one of the many beachfront restaurants. The not-so-nice: buy a good mosquito repellent and you'll be fine.

This resort was great- dare I say the nicest by far on that side of the island. The rooms were very clean and, although basic, appointed with the necessaries. The available loungers, chairs, and umbrellas were nice, and the convenience of the restaurant was a plus. Check-in was smooth, and we were made to feel as if the staff truly appreciated our business (something sorely lacking in the US). The available massages/manicures were nice and rather inexpensive. The staff was great- they have the Thailand courtesy down to an art. I would stay there again in a minute. It was more expensive than the other hotels/bungalows on that side of the island (expensive only by Ko Samet standards), but well worth it for me- a complete European bathroom with 24 hours HOT, HOT water, satellite TV, and a view of the ocean. If you are not looking to rough it, but want to get away from Bangkok to Ko Samet, Sai Kaew Beach Resort is for you. I really enjoyed it.

the hotel is quite nice with the white and blue decor. the staffs are friendly. however, it is a bit far away from the main beach. I think they should offer the pier pick up..When I arrived, I need to walk through the long beach with my lugagge.

Rooms nice, pretty, comfortable, clean. More expensive sea view rooms too noisy - both at night from bar and in the morning from restaurant - stay in a standard room. Great location right on beach, great service and food. One of the better hotels and locations on Ko Samet.

Rooms quite nice, got the blue and white theme. Got nice decor and nice furnishing, bedding quite good and toilet quite nice. Well the hotel does not have good location firstly, too many massager everywhere, the foods is bad with a lot files and worst of all, mosquitoes, cats and dogs roaming around. We decide to talk to hotel and change to Aoprao resorts instead.

I booked deluxe cottage, room are OK but expensive , a bit far away from the main beach, i walk around 5 mins from the check-in counter to the room. Friendly staff.
There are another type of room call "beach front" that is exactly next to the beach, you can open your room door and dump immediately into beach sand, so sexy and much cheaper !!
